74 /100 Devonshire Arms (Restaurant) NETHER END Visited for lunch on 17/09/20.
Definitely a food driven pub as Glen alludes to but worthy of much more than a 2.1 in my book.
Excellent accommodating service ... we went on a walk around Chatsworth Park and took a lot longer that we expected ... had to either abandon walk and turn back or would be almost an hour late for our table. Called them and not an issue ... helps they do food all day so 1300 became 1400 for our table.
Beer wise 3 real ales on offer including one from the very local Eyam brewery and also a Bradfield beer.
Whilst I was recommended this pub as a food stop the cask selection was as good as most other pubs in the area and the food and service were top notch.
A definite revisit for me. |
42 /100 Devonshire Arms (Restaurant) NETHER END Stopped in here for dinner after a long day out in Sheffield. This is a foodie pub with all tables being used for diners. There are 3 hand pumps in operation with a couple being used for localish beers. Not a place to look for anything unusual. |
