“Interesting brewery in an off the beaten path place...in Beach Haven at the southern part of LBI...yes the area gets crowded in the summer...but what about the off season...a bit out of the way for many unless they build a strong reputation...and even in the summer...many of the beach goers are not necessarily craftbeer enthusiasts beyond the initial novelty of checking them out. Nonetheless...I hope the location works out for them because the owner and staff seem very nice. The place is squeezed into some very tight quarters on the 2nd floor of a building in the Bay Village area (tourist stores, restaurants, and amusement rides...and check out the soups at County Kettle Chowda in the same complex). Doesn’t look like they can expand and the ceiling height limits the fermenter size. They are over a pizza place that delivers...which is very cool. The taproom and brewery are pretty much all in one and very simple but workable...could be very tight quarters if you arrived at a busy time. Now...for the beers...the pale ale had just kicked but a few of the patrons said it was good...that left me with 2 IPA’s...Chicken or the Egg and Pleasure Island. The first of them being pretty good and the other average. They have 10 taps on the wall...but I understand only 4 beers at once so far (not unusual for a startup). The brewery has only been open since 8/5/16...so I will write a more detailed (i.e. critical) review after 3-4 months. I see a few things I like and they have potential...but I also think they will need to have some money in the bank to carry them till (hopefully) their reputation draws people there from out of the area...it’s a long way to next May for a beach town brewery much more isolated than say Dark City in Asbury Park, Carton in Atlantic Highlands, or Cape May Brewing. I wish them luck.“

“Ok the place is small, nothing crazy. Great location, located in the middle of Fantasy Island Amusement Park. Gotta be honest, I was pretty disappointed. Beers were ok, but once again I go to a brewery that charges a high price (full price) for a flight of 3 when they normally sell a flight of 4. I was told they just kicked two of their other beers. Why should I pay full price for a flight when you run out of beer??? At least give me a double pour of one of the beers. I paid over $16 for a flight of 3 and a pint of beer. Pretty steep in my opinion. But I guess they can get away with this being located in a shore town with a lot of tourists. Anyhow put a bad taste in my mouth. I’d probably go in again, but will def say something if I get ripped off again.“
