“A couple of miles north of the city of Preston, this is a pub in a canalside tourist setting, essentially a place to moor up there's plenty of road visitors here to the shops and of course pub. As it's fairly rural it's pretty much either or. The pub is traditional in design, although perhaps a little artificial in this respect playing up to its tourist setting, food is served and very popular. It's about 10 years since I visited this place but it had several real ales available including local options.“
