50 /100 Pub Lovec (Bar) LJUBLJANSKA CESTA 6 Small hotel bar facing the main drag; there is a grill restaurant in the same hotel that shares a patio with this bar. Usually empty the couple of times I passed by. The usual macro stuff on tap and a few of the more common Pelicon bottles. Limited choices in Bled, so you might a well stop in here. |
54 /100 Kult Bled (Bar) LJUBLJANSKA 4 Big patio, where most of the people hang out. Interior is not small though - front room has a serving bar and some bar tables. Second room has restaurant tables. Crazy Duck is the feature here, with four different bottles available. Everything else was Heineken. They have pizza but no one was eating so neither did I. Decent enough service. Lots of local characters. Double the prioce of the most expensive beer bars in Ljubljana. |
50 /100 MLINSKA CESTA 28 Small family resto. 3 home brews, none of them good. |
64 /100 MLINSKA CESTA 28 Cute little place with poor to average home made beers. Worth a visit while in Bled. |
26 /100 MLINSKA CESTA 28 Attempted to visit today (02/03/2019) but told by lady brewer that they are not open until March/April whenever they restart brewing for the summer. She was currently distilling schnapps! |
42 /100 Pub Lovec (Bar) LJUBLJANSKA CESTA 6 Bland hotel bar with limited but interesting range of bottled beers. The Gamsar (note correct spelling) was interesting but I wouldn't other again but the Pelicon beers were excellent. Note also that hours are now 1130-2200 daily |
74 /100 Vila Prešeren (Restaurant) VESLAŠKA PROMENADA 14 Pricey with super slow service but surprisingly wide selection of Slovenian craft (bottles only) and union on tap. If you are around worth a stop |
56 /100 MLINSKA CESTA 28 A tourist farm with an ethnological collection in the adjoining buildings. In the small "tavern" they serve home-made local drinks, ranging from juices to spirits, among them also homemade beer (three varieties at the time of the visit, but planning several more). Also available are some local snakcs. Located just about 200m from the Lake Bled. Worthy of visit when in Bled. |
70 /100 Pub Lovec (Bar) LJUBLJANSKA CESTA 6 The only place in Bled that is RateBeer worthy. The grill is actually quite good, with great service and a family friendly attitude. Lots of outdoor seating. Beer choices consisted of s few Slovenian macros and about twenty bottles, mostly Belgian, English, and German, although they had an Austrian beer as well as Sierra Nevada (!). I had a poor macro Pils and a lovely Orval. Unfortunately, while they carry Gasmar, they were out when I was there. All in all a nice oasis and again, the family friendliness is appreciated. |
50 /100 Pub Lovec (Bar) LJUBLJANSKA CESTA 6 Located just a couple of steps away from the Lake Bled, next to the Western Hotel (actually part of it). A rather small pub with grill place next to it, tehy offer a decent number of Belgian, English and German beers, as well as some Slovenian, including Gamsasr beer, hard to find elsewhere. May not be anything special, but probably the only place in Bled to find some nice beer. |
