“Higher Gravity’s second location is across the street from the Summit Park playground. 24 taps, same general vibe as the Northside location but a little more open, and basically all the beer is in coolers. The selection seemed mostly in line with Northside but maybe a slightly smaller overall variety. Singles of most things are available. Prices are in line with the other one. Service is friendly. Good bottle shop if you’re near here.“

“During the initial influx of craft brewers in the Cincinnati area in the 90s, this place was Watson Brothers, a sister location of Main Street Brewery in downtown Cincinnati. It has been Firehouse Grill for a number of years, with brewing added relatively recently. The beers in my flight of house brews ranged from blah to pretty good. But the service left much to be desired. I expect a place that brews it's own beer to have servers that are knowledgeable about the beers made there. The style on one of the brews on offer wasn't listed on the menu and wasn't apparent from the description. The server could say nothing other than it was a "very light beer", which doesn't exactly narrow the possibilities. The service was lacking in other respects. The food is good but some of the menu items have rather small portions for the price. If you're in the area but have a limited amount of time, I would recommend Fretboard instead.“

“Visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon and unfortunately the place was jammed with the people from two brew buses when I arrived. It's in an industrial area of Blue Ash, and the space fits that - brick exterior facade but the inside is basically an aluminum shell, with the operation on one side and the taproom on the other. The bar splits the middle, there's a stage at one end, a barbecue kitchen in the corner, and a few scattered games and diversions. There were 13 beers on tap when I visited, 11 of which were new to me. The beer is pretty average overall, with no standouts and no bad ones. Prices are good, about $8/flight. There are some six-packs to go in the fridge, along with some merch. The food looked good but I didn't eat. They seem to have a lot of older regulars from nearby burbs. It's close to my in-laws' house so I'm sure I'll be back. It's good.“

“More industrial complex scenery. Yay northern Cincinnati! Inside was homey. Really like Fugee - the breakfast ale. Friendly staff. does flights. had smoky foods. open space with picnic tables iirc. kids would dig it.“

“Newer place with a very old suburban crowd, not a place you want to hang out. Beers were exceedingly average. They had a decent coffee beer. I will not come back here.“

“This is a happening place, definitely worthy of a visit if you are in the area. Their beers are quite good, and the servers know their craft. I didn't get a chance to sample the BBQ they have there, so can't comment on the food. If ever I am in the Cincinnati area again, I'll have to make a second visit.“

“Visited after dinner on a Monday. Located in a business park near the I71 / I275 intersection. Plenty of parking around the building. Selection is 14 house beers on tap with a variety of styles. Available as a pint, flight or growler. Big open space, split half between open brewery and even more open tasting room. Stage in the corner with shows 3 nights a week. There is bar seating, high tops and a pool table and foosball table in the corner. Smoked Out BBQ in the corner, didn't seem to be open while I was there. Solid place, I am sure it would be a lot of fun for a show.

76 = *** (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“This is another industrial park taproom. They have a nice stage set up and it appears that live music is part of the theme. They had eight of their beers on tap. The stout was very good. They did have a window from which you could get some smoked food, but it appears to be more of a stationary food truck deal. Neat space.“

“I rated this place about five years ago, before they started brewing. There were 40 taps, good variety, good food. That’s all gone now. The taps have been cut down, their own stuff occupies 4-6 handles, there are some macros and locals, and the interesting stuff is gone. The house beer is abysmal. Maybe the worst in Cincinnati, and that’s saying something. The food is mediocre at best. The service is slow despite the place being empty. They forgot 2 dishes we ordered and messed up another. Everything about this place is lazy and crappy. Even the name and logo are as generic as it gets. I’ll never return and recommend you also stay away.“

“Sammy’s is a small stand-alone place on the corner of Creek and Kenwood roads in Blue Ash. The interior is cozy but warm and inviting. The staff is friendly, although stretched a little thin when we were there. There are 30 taps, and plenty of good stuff on them. Bottles are mostly basics for macro drinkers. The taps had local seasonals, and some good rotating stuff. I got a Jackie O’s IPA I’d never had. The food is excellent. Really good burgers and fries. Just a great place to get burgers and beers.“

“Popped in quickly once to see what new stuff was in stock. There’s a drive-through window on one side and otherwise it’s just a small liquor/convenience store. The worker didn’t pay attention to me or the other guy in the store, just people driving up. They had a few different bomber areas with some interesting finds, mostly stuff that had come and gone from other stores but still available here. There were plenty of six packs in coolers, too. Unfortunately no singles, though, which is common for the area. Prices were fine. It’s a good stop if you want to find something that might have sold out elsewhere, but they don’t seem to be getting a lot overall.“

“Warehouse look, with a themed decor of firehouse paraphenalia, but a lot of taps, and bartenders who are friendly and know the brews they are serving. Flights are available for all brews on tap. Food is typical pub fare of good quality. I will return, if for no other reason, because they will have new local brews I’ve not yet sampled.“

“A good upscale in Blue Ash with a nice atmosphere. TVs are all over, and the beer selection is good and includes a lot of locally made brews. Our service wasn’t great, but the food was good. Worth a stop, especially to watch a game.“

“Hidden gem right next to Cavalier Distributing in Blue Ash. I stepped in for the first time last week after they hosted a "best beers in Cincinnati" event - they did a tap takeover with all Cincinnati breweries, about 35 different beers, and allowed people to vote on which was best with different categories. That’s a really unique and impressive undertaking, really shows that these guys have a passion for local craft. They also typically have a selection of macros on tap, though. The place inside is pretty nice, with a bar in the center, and tables all around - sort of a sportier bar, with lots of the decor nodding to firefighters. Bud / Bud Light flags and merchandise around. It was relatively quiet on a Monday when I stopped in, just the way I like it. The bartender and buyer were very nice, and were very knowledgeable about beer and the local scene. Spent a good amount of time talking to me, very friendly. Prices on beer were reasonable, and when I asked for a half pour on a beer I was accommodated. Overall, a cool beer place in an area that really has nothing else interesting that I’m aware of. Will return for future special events / tappings, and will come back sometime to try the food“

“A smaller shop with not too much to offer. But the few times I’ve gone in when they did have something to offer, this place is a must see. The staff is awesome and always willing to help... if they have what you’re looking for.“

“Mostly selling macros, but a nice craft selection in back. Owner frequently breaks out some cellared cases of large format beers, some almost a decade old! Couldn’t ask for a nicer dude to buy craft beer from than Geoff the owner.“

“This is a cool, little place in Blue Ash that has a pretty good selection of good beer, but you will pay a premium for it. I like the laid-back atmosphere. I would definitely consider picking up a keg there if the need comes up.“

“Directly on Blue Ash Road with pull thru pony keg service and four parking spaces in front. Clean well organized store with a full service pony keg selection of beverages, smokes, package food and even live bait. Three coolers of micro brews with singles and six packs of both domestic and imports. Picked up an English brew for later. Near my business and I will stop to pick a brew.“
