“We entered this 2016 Good Beer Guide pub through a large leafy garden containing a stream and tropical plants, plus a stuffed caged white lion!! There is a single bar with drinking areas divided by archways, and a mass of military memorabilia around the walls and ceiling. There is a conservatory area and a restaurant upstairs which also serves as a function room. Seven ales on offer in the bar, all we drank were in good condition, and there are real ciders too.“
