“Big-ass sports bar attached to a hotel. I could probably see 20 TVs from my bar seat. But its got an amazing beer list. I tried five... including a brewery I'd never heard of, limited Cigar City and Three Floyds. No flights but bartenders were happy to give small tastes (and one I didn't even ask for). Beer prices high but not unreasonable. Did not try the food. Bartenders a little too "bro" but helpful enough. Solid place.“

“Huge upscale grocery store. Not exactly the same chain as the other Sendik's locations but similar (ownership has split amongst the same famiily). This is more upscale than the similar stores but has the same vibe. Huge alcohol section. Great beer selection with some caveats. Huge selection of large format and cans. But no small format bottles. Prices high and with the $5 per can trend I left with only one beer. That being said its a nice place to stop by if you got some money to spend.“

“Picture is for the old location. They've moved. For a brewery open for 5 years I expected a lot more. Big place, homey. Couches, fireplace, and the place was full of kids which was a little annoying. Large outdoor patio. Busy but staff kept up. Beer was cheap. Didn't see any sign of food. As beerbaaron said years ago, yes, lots of unusual beers. But this is one of those places that likes to play with the bells and whistles when they haven't learned the basics. Beers were also sophomoric, off balance, full of diacetyl. Even the one the brewer called his favorite was merely OK. Avoid.“

“Decent stop. Smaller than I expected. Tiny parking lot. No CS; the person behind the counter didn't even seem to notice I was there. Good selection with some rarities. Didn't really notice the prices as I didn't buy anything. One complaint is I found no small format singles. Decent store but not going out of your way for it.“

“Larger and more upscale than the typical Pick N' Save. It seems like they're going through a remodel. The mix 6 described by beerbaaron was very meh. It was one of the largest I've seen in a grocery store. Lots of selections, but not even many seasonals from local breweries. I probably could have found 3-4 new ticks here but declined as I'm on a budget and looking for specific things. Large format bottles are clearly an afterthought. I did buy groceries here though.“

“Kinda away from civilization. This place feels like a basement in a bad way. Smells musty and old. Straight up smells like mold and mildew in the walk-in cooler. Dust all over many of the bottles. Dirty place generally. Beer selection is decent if pretty random, and you might find stuff here. Not many rarities, but a couple of fairly fresh limited beers at the register. Check your dates! Prices seem reasonable. They recently expanded so this place may have more selection that before, but they have other basic things they need to work on before expanding. Shopkeeper was friendly; no service in the store. Not worth going out of your way for this place.“

“The beer selection isn't overwhelming (though being Irish-themed they definitely know how to pour a Guinness!) but everything else about O'Sullivan's is delightful. Very friendly servers, decent selection of tasty food available at bar long after restaurant section has closed for the night (I'm partial to the sandwiches) and they love my bowling team. Don't miss their Dublin-timed New Years Eve celebration at 6 p.m. every Dec. 31.“

“Stopped in here on a hot sunny day. Sat on the patio which my brother and I referred to as a biergarten which confused the staff. Anyways the service was horrible for our particular table. So it wasn’t this place overall just our waitress. She hung out downstairs bullshitting with another worker and just had incredibly slow service. They do have some nice house beers though and a wide selection of Belgians but I’ll sit somewhere else if I come back or avoid that waitress. The prices are expensive, especially for milwaukee.“

“In a newish development feet from the interstate. Parking is a nightmare. The place itself is huge. Two floors, patio on two sides. Bright and sunny as the place was open to the air. Menu looks the same as the other locations. Food was solid. Service was a little too plentiful but friendly enough. I did not try any beer this visit as I was on a work lunch, but I’ve tried the house beers in the past, and they were nice. Another couple dozen taps. Definite Belgian vibe, but some local and regional stuff here. They probably have some Bofferding if you’re missing your Luxembourgian tick. No rarities, but some oddball stuff. Overall a decent stop if your in Brookfield and need some food.“

“Stopped here a few times. Typical TJ. Which of course means cheap ticks and anything can be pulled from a six pack. Lots of local beers, and some TJs exclusives brewed in WI so maybe they don’t get distributed too far. Prices good. Staff friendly, no assistance offered in the beer section. Solid.“

“Not sure if total wine is an inbev owned entity or not but I like the fact they are creeping in on binny’s. There needs to be something to derail the binnys train because total wine offers way more singles. So if you are iso singles head over here. I wish I knew it was open sooner. They were offering draft beer when I was there.“

“Relatively new store, about 6 or 7 months old. Pretty nice compared to the East Coast locations I’m used to. Large, expansive, beer takes up the left third of the store. Lots of bottles, seasonals, good selection. It fills the role of a TW nicely... you won’t find rarities but you will find ticks. Staff super friendly, helpful, good prices. I came in for a keg and left with 1/6th barrel of Surly Furious for $68. Probably not worth going out of your way for, but a nice place to pick up singles.

NOTE: The plan for this location was to offer draft beer, and they do have 10 or 12 taps installed. However, Bloomfield officials got stingy and refused to give them the license they requested. TW is currently working on the issue.“

“The beer-wine-liquor department of this TJ occupies about 10 percent of the store. One aisle is dedicated to TJ’s many JosephsBrau Co. craft brews that are popular among the budget-conscious folks out there--all of which being available as singles or six packs. Another few dozen craft brands are available, too.“

“Upscale restaurant with the focus on wine. Still, they a nice selection of quality craft beer by the bottle. The food was expensive but outstanding.“

“Rerate: Since Tony took over as bar manager, they have gone far over the top with craft stuff. Bartenders knowledgable. A go-to place for anything new or interesting in the Midwest, especially, but also fairly national. Original rating: Very much a sports bar/restaurant, with tvs everywhere, they have focused on craft beer, and now always have 10 or so really good taps, and always a range of styles. Also have had numerous ’release’ days over the past several years. Food is a tick better than bar food; love the different taco offerings (carnitas, shrimp, chipolte fish, etc ...).“

“For a few years I lived around the corner from this place. It was as the previous reviewers described. After having moved away I stopped in while visiting the old neighborhood and it has changed dramatically. The selection exploded. The sorry mix 6 selection that had a dozen old ’crafty’ beers has increased 5 fold in both size and quality. Its still a stop for locals only obviously. I credit them for updating, but wish they’d done it sooner.“

“Wow - does this store have an outstanding collection of microbrews. I haven’t seen anything like it in the Milwaukee area. They also have some unique imports. My only suggestion for improvement is that it would be nice if they would sell a few more singles, but it’s a small tweak and won’t stop me from going there frequently.“

“Grand opening. Small place but big enough. About 40 person cap. Nice little bar, tables, some plush chairs. Clean and casual feel. Everyone working there seemed to be related to the brewers = friendly and caring service. There were 9 beers on tap!!! Taps weren’t just ’run of the mill’ either, and included 3 different barrel aged brews. 1 or 2 average beers, a few above average, and a couple great ones.“

“I’m rating the location in Menomonee Falls, WI. Has a nice variety of unusual craft beers and some unique imports. However, the prices are high. Beer is only one small portion of what they do so service is understandably underwhelming.“

“It’s a champs not a lot more. They have a handful of local craft beers that rotate once in a while. Not a real beer stop, but nice to get a good pour if your here for something else.“

“Sports bar-ish place, but open, airy and attractive in a small strip mall. 15 taps, about half of which were macro (Blue Moon = macro methinks), but across a number of styles. A number of bottles as well, mostly local stuff, with a few hidden gems. Prices were good and it is close to home; I would go back.“

“Small place that is mostly wine/liquor off of the main drag with no advertising (found out later they are in court with Discount Liquor about the name). Craft stuff is in a long wall of coolers of 6s and bombers with a back room area containing more 6s. A nice selection for the area. A bit concerning about turnover as they had a bunch of Hopslam in Feb ... and after I went back a few times, still have a bunch of Hopslam when now it is more in the Hop-OrangeJuice stage. They do get stuff when it comes out (Deviant Dales, for example, and the Hopslam) and a good go-to place for relatively common releases as currently so few others go there.“

“It’s a Champps, but they have a pretty good craft beer selection. Multiple draft selections of Oscar Blues, New Belgium, Ale Asylum, Lakefront, Tyranena, Sierra Nevada, Alaskan, Lagunitas, Three Floyds. It is attached to a hotel and there are multiple hotels within walking distance, so it can get crowded with all of the business travelers. The bar is huge and unless a bartender sees you sit down, they may not notice you. Service can be sketchy at times. The food is not bad, upscale bar food. There are tons of TV’s all showing sports. Overall, it was a nice find when I was in the area for work.“

“It is a grocery store, but it has a wall of micros right when you come in, with nice choices, and a section of coolers with more. A tad pricey, but also a bit of a hidden gem - they had Founders Kentucky Breakfast last spring when no one else did - they seem to focus on doing the beer they do really well and stuff rotates through.“

“This is my local Sendik’s, and I find the beer selection to be very solid. They carry a lot of Wisconsin micros, the full like of Ommegang stuff (even Choc. Indulgence and Ommegeddon), the full line of bottled Goose Island beers (including Bourbon Country IIPA, and the other reserves), Unibroue, Founders, and others. Prices are a hair higher than Discount, but Sendik’s is closer for me. This is a fancy grocery store, which has great produce, about the best cheese fridge, and premium foods/ingredients. I spend a lot of time there.“
