“Classic low ceilinged old fashioned bar, not a shadow of what it was as a free house beer wise. Worth a look if in the vicinity.“

“Small, intimate and cosy pub part of a row of terraced houses at a right-angle to the Tay Estuary at the end of the street. The long row of cask ale pumps are the first things on the bar as you enter. There’s small tables and chairs throughout on both sides of the central serving area and a nice enclosed garden area at the back.“

“A lively bar on the main street and close to the railway station (not that it gets many trains though!) 2 ales on when I went, one from Inveralmond and Deuchars IPA.“

“A lively pub on the sea front in Broughty Ferry. 2 real ales on when I visited, which I find is good for Scotland.“

“A busy hotel bar not far from the town centre and the sea front. 6 ales on mainly from the Belhaven / Greene King range (the owners of the pub) Good atmosphere but very busy. A little disappointing that with a choice of 6 ales there was nothing unusual.“

“Busy but cosy pub with up to 4 real ales on at at time. Beer selection isn’t very exciting; they very rarely have anything I haven’t tried before. That being said, the beer is always in excellent condition and is reasonably priced. The food is perfectly acceptable and reasonably priced. Nice wee pub with friendly staff and locals.“

“Good for scotland - a decnt selection of real ales from scotland and a few wel known ones from further south. Decent food and knowledgeable enough staff.“
