“Cool brewpub with good selection on tap. Friendly and efficient service. Digital beer menu easily visible named "What's on tap?" Tasters: 10.90 Euro 4x15 cl (All stars) or 13.90 Euro 4x15 cl (All stars & Pop-ups) Very colorful interior and a inner section that is more like a music scene. An interesting local (?) rock band played their last songs when I arrived just before ten o'clock in the evening. I did not pay 5 Euro for an entrance and music in 5 minutes or so. I wish I came here earlier! But, I enjoyed my two beers: Nord Bliss and Madeira Lambic. (Visited May 17th 2024)“

“No available tables when I arrived this evening. No problem, easy to find a seating by the bar counter. A large and classy brewpub. Brick walls, high ceiling and several chandeliers. 13 taps and about 40 bottles from quality breweries. Beers on tap are divided in "Timeless brews" and "Limited brews" Not much information about the beers on the menu behind the bar. You have to read the written beer menu. Beers served in 25 cl or 40 cl or you can order two different flights: 3x12,5 cl for 10 Euro (House Beers) or 3x12,5 cl for 13,5 Euro (Guest Beers) I enjoyed my stay and tried three of their own beers. Swift service. (Visited May 17th 2024)“

“Was surprised how big this place is. We came just upon opening and it was completely empty, but started filling up by the time we were about to leave. Nicely designed interior, somewhat of an industrial style, but with lots of details. Used to be a hat factory and then used for importing fruits. 15+ taps from Surrealiste, but not all of them were available. Focused on IPAs and sours, the quality was good to very good with some let downs. Solid bottle list. Certainly worth checking out for the beer and interior.“

“One of many Delirium bars in Brussels. Located in a very touristy area but still a decent bar to visit. 27 taps and maybe 12 boring bottles. Order beers by the bar, served in 25, 50,100 or 200 cl (??) A meter of ten tasting glasses for 29.90 Euro. Seemed to to be the thing among tourists. Efficient service. I enjoyed an Averbode Abdijbier. (Visited May 17th 2024 with my wife)“

“For sure a pilgrim's destination for beer connoisseurs! Not the most exciting neighborhood and my wife wondered why we had to walk so far out of the very city center. She understood when we entered the upstairs bar! Great place with both tourists and locals, at least Belgians. Two Cantillon served by glass and several bottles available. We shared a bottle Sang Bleu and I later bought Vigneronne in the shop by the entrance. Very efficient service, great beers and atmosphere. A must visit in Brussels. “Located in a wide pedestrian street. Patio in front, very large inside, dark interior with walls covered by bottles from the beer menu. Two floors, pop music played and I guess at least 20 screens displaying football. Not many guests at noon and we sat outside this sunny day. Decent beers on tap but mostly ordinary beers and local classics. A flight is 10 small glasses for 25 Euro. I enjoyed a Kwak Blonde. The BIG THING here is the bottled menu, thats is huge! I was thrilled to find Nøgne Ø Elliot. The super friendly female waiter warned me that it was rather expensive for take away. 13 Euro is a bargain for me! We could easily have stayed longer here but were on our way to Cantillon. (Visited May 17th 2024 with my wife)“

“After some hours in the nearby shopping streets I needed a cold beer. Bier Central is a large corner bar, three floors and a large patio in front. Wooden interior and varied seating. Wait to be seated and order a beer from the waiter. The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable but I prefer to order my beers myself at the bar. We sat near the bar counter and many of the taps were partially hidden under the stairs leading upstairs. Well, it is not meant for you to order directly from the bar. Nothing crazy on tap either. A bit easier when it comes to bottled beers, there was an informative beer menu. A flight is 4x15 cl for 15.80 Euro. (Visited May 17th 2024 with my wife)“

“Hmmm, I was not in Brussels to drink Scottish beers. But, this was my nearest bar to visit. I could see Brew Dog from my room at Hilton. Big venue and classic Brew Dog interior. Rather expensive draught beers, but I had to try a couple! (Visited May 16th 2024)“

“A small bottle shop in a street I passed by every day. Good selection mostly small stubby bottles from well known Belgian breweries. Impressive amount of bottles in this small room! Great selection of glassware from Belgian breweries. Too bad that few bottles were in fridges, my hotel room was only some steps away. (Visited May 16th 2024)“

“Sorry, I can't see THE THING about this place. Very small bar with trashy interior and nothing special when it comes to beer. Actually live music played in this small room now and then. I guess this may has something to do with an acquired taste I do not understand. (Visited May 16th and 17th 2024)“

“Well Cunningham, they do not brew their own beer at the premises. Beers are contract brewed by Jandrain-Jandrenouille and La Source. They only make their mead at the premises. Anyway, this is a great place! Patio in front, long and narrow room with along bar counter. I doubt it were as many as 46 beers on tap but the beer list was impressive, both tap and bottles.16 big bottles from Cantillon and 13 from 3 Fonteinen. Beers from tap served in 25 cl or 50 cl. Staff was very knowledgeable. Our first visit was a Thursday evening and music played was punk (7 Second, Subhumans, Ramones, Minor Threat, New York Dolls) I also visited alone on Sunday, then they played boring easy listening music. I was told that the day before, when the city was celebrating Pride, they played house, techno and trance! Thursday was definitely my day! (Visited May 16th 2024 with my wife and alone May 19th)“

“A Belgian Taverne with a very central location. Always a lot of tourists hanging around here to see "a naked little boy pissing" Decent beer selection but frankly nothing special. Many bars around in Brussels with similar beer selection. Four beers on tap from Achouffe and some from Vedett and Maredsous. Not bad to enjoy a classic Belgian beer here if you need a break, but not a must visit for craft beer geeks. (Visited May 16th 2024 with my wife)“

“Touristy but also very old school and a must visit in Brussels. No tables available outside but we had to see the inside and sat by the small bar. Beers are served by the table, efficient and prompt service. Extended beer menu with mostly well known Belgian classics, but also ten bottles from Cantillon. I enjoyed an Orval and all the puppets and other strange things all around in the the room gave us something to watch and discuss. Fun interior! (Visited May 16th 2024with my wife)“

“Our first beer stop in Brussels. Not far from our hotel. Nice bar with a patio facing a little square. Very friendly service and a decent tap list. Verified Untappd venue. Beers served in 25 cl, 50 cl or a large pitcher. In retrospect, I regret not buying the bottled Cantillon Ashanti. (Visited May 16th 2024 with my wife)“

“Looks like some kind of wine bar/shop with some snacks or finger food available. Has certain hipster feel to it, nice. Beer selection is impressive in terms of lambics and sours. About 70 bottles included Cantillon, 3f, Antidoot, Bofkont, Vermeersch, Pellicle even 3 or 4 Hertie bottles. Prices are Okish. Would like to revisit with friends and share some bottles.“

1 PLACE DU JARDIN AUX FLEURS
“Visited around noon, just upon opening. The place was pretty much empty. Small bar and a traditional bar room on the right, lots of wood and some mirrors. Very rustic. 5 beers on tap included to lambics - one from Belgoo and one from Eylenbosch. About 50 beers in bottles, 30 lambics. Service was good, haven't tried the food. Nice stop really.“

PLACE DE LA CHAPELLE 5
“Pleasant traditional interior with long bar at the one side of the room. We came in for lunch as it was pouring outside and they somehow managed to find us a table. I'd recommend reserving since it was packed. The bottle list had about 30 craft beers including 5 or 6 Cantillons. Reasonably priced too. We went for Racine. Food was fantastic, beef (or was it veal?) cooked for 15 hours was out of this world. Friendly, but professional service. Cheese platter was served with Cantillon gueuze. Great place which I wouldn't mind revisiting.“

“Very close to the Madelaine exit of Central Station, one room, mild night shop vibes but regular opening hours, small fridge with sodas in it too. Lots of glassware, surprisingly solid color coordinated beer selection. Wide range of mainstream and more interesting beers, okay prices, better than you would expect.“

72 /100 PLACE FERNAND COCQ 6, ELSENE
“Lots of brick, very spacious, old-time music and a big number of plants. Almost like the idea of a hip LA restaurant crossbred with something Belgian. Service at the bar. The tap selection is bit of a curious mix with Dupont, Lutgarde, Jack’s IPA, Silly Pils, no name cider, mixing quality with more generic offerings without discernable logic, some beers less common tap. Cocktails available too. The bottle menu is more consistent quality with some less common breweries like Cazau, De Leite. Brunch and lunch available with the food and cocktails being more attractively priced than the beer. Not a place I can easily place, seems bit restaurant focused but people were there only for drinks and parts of interior suggested more bar, tap list seeming to try to please all, vibe is almost more date-like. Curious mix that one visit didn’t quit pinpoint.“

“Boardgame bar in Saint-Gilles, across from Bar Dynamo. Small terrace, comfortable and stylish interior and cozy room in the back. Huge selection of board games, 4 euros per person to play, arranged by the number of people required to play. The owner is happy to help, do note that all the games are in French so unfortunately if you're not a French speaker. Two taps with Fugu and La Source on tap while visiting. The beer selection is surprisingly deep, La Source beer made for this venue and huge La Source selection, big selection of modern BXL breweries, L'Hermitage, De La Senne, Illegale etc. and big choice of Tilquin, slightly cheaper than at Dynamo even for some things. So even if you don't care about board games, the interior, service and surprisingly great beer selection make this a more than worthwhile stop.“

70 /100 1 PLACE SAINTE CROIX
“Huge and very popular Art Deco bar at Flagey, massive terrace too. Gorgeous bar and an institution. Service at the bar and very busy. It’s not a beer geek centric bar obviously but has a sizeable beer list with special beer from Stoemeling, De Ranke, Trappists and Bel Pils on tap which is bit of a rarity. Loud techno music upon visit including bad Prodigy remixes, music is a big part of this place. Definitely worth checking out if around, it’s a gorgeous square and interior but not a primary beer destination.“

“Lovely, wine bar looking place, modern, slick and interesting. They make breakfast, sandwiches, tea, specialty coffee, cocktails etc. Beer list is small but interesting chosen with Surréaliste, Boon, Dochter van de Korenaar. The wine we tried was good as well and the Negroni I got is the best one I tried so far, cozy and different place, worth checking out, cool and charming.“

“New beer store from Dynamo, not too far from their bar but not exactly next door either. A minimalist shop with shelves and fridges for the hoppy beers, friendly service. Not just beers either, hot sauce, sardines, olives, and natural wines too. Wine selection looked interesting, but I am not knowledgeable enough to judge. Nice selection of Brussels breweries, Tilquin, BE standards like De Ranke, Blaugies, choice FR, UK bottles and cans. I still prefer Malt Attacks but we will see how this place evolves, definitely worth checking out for sure. It’s a cool place for sure.“

“Minimal terrace outside but gorgeous interior, Art Deco vibes with lots of copper, brightly colored cushions, modern design tables, chairs, benches, spacious, art displayed, and art gallery look. Friendly service, some rarer, interesting beers on the menu, sadly without the brewery written next to them on the menu. Abbaye d’Aywiers pilsner on tap, Brasserie Surréaliste, Stoemelings beers, some beers rather expensive. My partner got a cocktail, tasty but probably mocktail by accident. Vegan, cheese plates etc. available, didn’t try. Art focused and different for sure bar, cool place.“

“Located on a street with almost nothing but bars and restaurants with lots of traction. Sat outside on the terrace which was spacious. The interior looks great as well (long, minimalist, modern), service at the bar, food available in the evening and snacks during the day with vegetarian options. A small number of rotating beers, indicated inside but not on the card menu. Guest tap from L’Ermitage and some De La Senne beers, got a few years old De La Senne which aged great, not past BBF either. Average prices, good prices for cocktails, basil smash was a bit too heavy on sweetness. Nothing too special or unique but nice place to chill at.“

“Large place on the main drag not far from La Bourse. It looked a bit touristy at first, but that was not the case. The taps served several regular beers but we did find a few gems. The ambiance was very comfortable. The bar servers were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. The best thing for us was the extensive bottle list.“

“We were a little disappointed. Yes, they have a lot of taps, but several of them were empty. The beers on offer did cover a good range of styles and there was a good bottle/can list too. One of our first beers was a short measure and the barman was reluctant to top it up. It took him 2 more goes before the beer reached the line. All of our following beers were proper measures.“

“New taproom in Sint-Gilles of DrinkThatBeer brewery. Spacious, modern, looks loverly, could be touch warmer given the weather. Very friendly / great service. Sandwiches, cheese etc. available, vegetarian options, not sure if anything can be vegan. Multiple pour sizes available, you can taste a beer before ordering, 10 or so taps, good prices, decent to slightly better beers. Great atmosphere. Great stuff, relaxing, great service, decibel meter in place, pleasant volume, wonderful, should definitely return.“

“Real old school rock and roll vibe in look and service, there’s even a motorcycle behind the bar and they do shows plus it looks very brown. Very friendly service and good prices in a very lively neighborhood. They have their own shot which at 4 euro is a great deal and tasted nice. One rotating tap with Zinnebier on, Trappist selection on the menu. English speaking staff. Some real charm here, might pop in again at some future time, very much in central Brussels. Popcorn given with all drinks.“

“Es un bar muy agradable. Tienen una selección decente, aunque la verdad esperaba más variedad. La cerveza evidentemente estuvo muy deliciosa. Existe la opción de pedir 10 cervezas diferentes en tasters, pero son demasiado grandes para poder siquiera pedir uno para uno mismo. The menu is high on macro brands but has some new Brussel breweries (De La Senne, L'Hermitage etc.) and a reasonable range of Boon products including Boon Oude Lambiek available per glass or jugs of 500 ml. and 1 litter which was a nice surprise, charming.
