| 70 /100 Growler Express (Beer Store) 1567 MAIN ST SUITE 800 “Pretty swell little spot near the interstate in a kind of strip mall. Over 20 taps of mostly Texas beer. Prices are good, lots of daily specials, and the occasional live band. It was pretty empty during my visit, but then again it was just north of opening on a weekday. I'll definitely be back when visiting home again.“ |
| 80 /100 Growler Express (Beer Store) 1567 MAIN ST SUITE 800 “Visited mid-March, 2019 while traveling for work. Popped in just because it came up as nearby on Untappd and had lots of TX beers I haven't had. Small place sort of in a strip mall. Well-lit, big windows with lots of natural light. Most of the place is taken up by the bar, but maybe a small table or two. I think the owner was working and he was training a new person. He was suuuuper friendly and knowledgeable and she was... cute at least. Clearly knew nothing about beer, but he'll teach her, I suppose! They had tons of beer on tap I hadn't had, so I was happy. I was also happy to get some good beers to grab to go and drink in my hotel. As I recall if you get a four or six pack (depending on the beers) you get a discount as well! Pretty sweet. I'd definitely be back if I were in Buda, TX again for some reason!“ |
