68 /100 69 VIA PORTO SCALAS Not a bad spot, good selection of fine local and Belgium beers. |
76 /100 Bierbaum 1599 (Bar) CORSO VITTORIO EMANUELE II 144 Found this place by coincidence and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. A must visit if in Cagliari. |
8 /100 Birra e Dintorni (Beer Store) VIA SANTA MARGHERITA 5/A Seems to be permanently closed :( |
96 /100 Grains (Restaurant) SCALETTE SANTA CHIARA I really Love this Place.
Perfect service, lovely staff, great food.
Last but not least...They have a loooot of craft sardinian beers! |
72 /100 Wineshop Biondi 1959 (Beer Store) VIALE REGINA MARGHERITA 83 Winstore with a nice selection of Italian craft brews, inlcuding some local. OK service, although he realy wanted to sell and tell about his wines. Prices are stiff, but that is Italian I guess. Will enjoy the beers purchased. |
100 /100 69 VIA PORTO SCALAS If you have only one night in Cagliari, go here. If you have 10 nights in Cagliari, go here. This is THE place in Cagliari for craft beer I was in Cagliari for a few nights in April, 2014, then again in September. I walked by while they were closed and had no expectations whatsoever. I could never have been so wrong about a place. Not only do they have many excellent craft beers on tap, they jave many Italian, and even better - local Sardinian craft beers on tap, such as P3 Brewing, Marduk, tc. Never did I expect a small pub in Cagliari to have my favorite pilsner, Tipopils, but they certainly did. They have at least 10 taps, which are constantly rotating, as well as an endless amount on bottle. Every beer and I mean every, is well-poured. They are meticulous are cleaning and maintaining the pipes. I’ve easily had 50+ pints here, and all of them were perfectly poured. They take great pride in their pub and beer, and it shows. If you get hungry, they have an extensive panini menu, since that’s their specialty as far as food goes. The ones I’ve tried are delicious. They open at 18:00 and close around 02-03. It’s a small place and can get very full, but don’t let that stop you, because you won’t find a better craft beer pub in all of Cagliari, or Sardinia for that matter. A word of warning to the girls: go to the restroom before you go here, otherwise be prepared for standing room only. It’s the only I would change about this place, if I could. There are many pubs in Cagliari, some with craft beer on bottle, but none of them have such an awesome craft selection on tap as Merlo Parlante. Go and enjoy! |
94 /100 Birra e Dintorni (Beer Store) VIA SANTA MARGHERITA 5/A Great location for a beer getaway. |
76 /100 69 VIA PORTO SCALAS Really nice bar! Plays good music, has interesting interior with craft beer posters and labels. You can choose between 3 glass sizes - nice. Hosts mostly Italian beers on taps, but bottles are from breweries all around the world. I suppose every beer fan would be satisfied. |
88 /100 Wineshop Biondi 1959 (Beer Store) VIALE REGINA MARGHERITA 83 This winestore just east of the Marina district has a surprisingly large collection of Italian craft beer, many of which I hadn’t seen on the mainland. This was a great find (although not quite up to the brilliance of Dintorno - reviewed elsewhere in Cagliari). |
92 /100 Birra e Dintorni (Beer Store) VIA SANTA MARGHERITA 5/A Great botlte shop/bar. Super knowledgeable guys - one speaks English well, the other a little. A very well curated mix of the very best Italian craft beers, a few local Sardo ones, and very strong Belgian lineup (plus a lot of BrewDog and a smattering of US/UK). There are tables to sit and drink your purchases, complementart crisps and nuts. And they do a great platter of cheeses, meats and other antipasti. This place was such a pleasure to find that we spent 3 evenings there. |
96 /100 Birra e Dintorni (Beer Store) VIA SANTA MARGHERITA 5/A Il miglior beer shop in Sardegna. / The best beer shop in Sardinia. Hundreds of Italian and international references. Ability to taste inside the place, pretty good of dishes to served with the beers. Many years of experience in the wholesale, supply of kegs many local places to dine. The managers are very knowledgeable and willing to give advice to customers. |
66 /100 Old Square (Bar) CORSO VITTORIO EMANUELE 44 Irish bar with a fair beer selection, 3 Grimbergens and some other stuff on tap. 50-60 bottles, many from Flying Dog, Brew Dog and the local Barley Brewery. |
80 /100 69 VIA PORTO SCALAS Not a brewpub, but rather a surprisingly well stocked little bar. Walked by the place during the day, and the windowless, signless facade did not indicate that a bar was hiding behind the shutter that opened at 19:00(?). In addition to the taps the cooler contained 30-40 different italian micros, as well as Brew- and Flying Dogs. I did not expext to find Haandbryggeriet Handbic and Pale Ale in a Cagliari neighborhood bar either! |
80 /100 Birra e Dintorni (Beer Store) VIA SANTA MARGHERITA 5/A The best place for craft beer in Sardegna. A great and knowledgeable staff who work hard to find the best from across the world. Its not easy getting good beers on this island but they do a damn good job! Its also a great place to find all the local beers and the best italian brews! |
74 /100 VIA NEWTON, 24 A great place in Cagliari for a global craft beer atmosphere! Great food for very cheap (a big steak with potatoes and veg for 15 euro!) and decent beers made in house from tasting size to a liter stein. A nice escape from the typical italian scene! |
