“This is a quaint place that is really out in the middle of no place. It is located in a farm on the end of a winding dirt road that is maybe 3 miles from Canterbury Shaker Village, a popular tourist site. It is small with one table, a couple of arm chairs, and a counter that wraps around half the wall. There was a fire going in the fireplace when I arrived and there is a water wheel that greets you as you enter the building. There were eight beers on tap and a four-flight set is available for $6.00. The beer is sometimes unique and fairly good. Growlers can be filled here.“

“It’d be hard to find a brewery with a comparable atmosphere to this place. It’s located in a barn, down a winding road, in a small town in the middle of New Hampshire. The building itself is powered by a water wheel and the beer is brewed over a wood fire. Inside, it’s a cozy bar built into a room with wood beams and a beautiful old brick chimney. They serve 8 beers, all brewed by them, and it’s all good, fresh, and well priced. There’s no food, but they are downright encourage you to bring in whatever you’d like. Note that the toilet is a composting toilet (but that only adds to the appeal). This has to be one of the most unique and frankly beautiful breweries I’ve ever been to.“
