82 /100 11, GOV. M. CUENCO AVE Luckily they were open at 11 a.m. on Saturday morning , was able to duck in & grab some tins & bottles from the fridge ... friendly guys ... fantastic array of old beer bottles & cans on shelves around the taproom : wish I couldve stayed & had a draft , sigh ! |
82 /100 11, GOV. M. CUENCO AVE What a great find in Cebu City. This is a real hidden gem, literally, as it’s tucked away off busy Gov. M. Cuenco Avenue and down a narrow laneway that isn’t sign-posted. It’s best to send a message on their Facebook page to confirm a visit, as hours can be irregular and due to the limited space inside only a certain number of guests can be accepted. The small brewery and attached taproom has a real grass roots feel, in what is essentially their basement. On tap was a Golden Ale, APA, DIPA, hoppy Red Ale and a Stout that showed no flaws and each worthy of more than one glass. Owner/brewer Michael is personable and enthusiastic about pushing the quality of Pinoy craft beer positively forward. I would highly recommend a visit if passing through Cebu. |
