“Britain’s biggest pub chain breathed new life into this dying local pub on the single lane high street and kept its name. The exterior still looks untypically bland. Inside its a collection of rooms comfortably furnished in a darker style modern decor making it a fine place to unwind. The bar stocks the usual including ales from near and far and food is popular.“

“A former Marston’s pub that is now a free house. An OK selection of ales which are usually local. Food is good and the beer is well kept. I just wish there was a more diverse range of ales as a regular visitor“
