80 /100 530 WELLINGTON AVENUE 22 Located in a warehouse, I was able to find parking on the street. Fairly rustic space with some high tops and a lot of rail space. Fairly strong IPA and stout game. Really friendly and personable staff. |
82 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Nice open space with central bar, and long tables. Glassed in brewery. Service is excellent. Selection is good, but limited mostly to Revival brews (still tasty). Food was fine. |
52 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Modern place just outside of Providencec with a nicely set-up interior. Over a dozen house beers tap with flights of 4 available for just $6. Beer quality was pretty weak - they just seemed very amateur and not dialed in right. Friendly service. Not a highlight but good for some ticks. |
94 /100 530 WELLINGTON AVENUE 22 Big warehouse style taproom. Darts, bags, dogs, board games. Lots of natural light. Small rustic bar by the tanks. Good selection of solid/interesting beers. Small pours, regular pours, half growlers, growlers. Great spot for a group. Great spot for one. |
68 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Lots of beers courtesy of Revival, and a couple of them are quite tasty. Excellent smoked pork, ok prices and service. Nothing special, but possibly the best brewpub in RI. |
92 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD Great store with an amazing selection. Every time I go I end up finding something new and exciting. Their latest advertised sales have included a ton of craft beer that you wouldn’t expect. |
82 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Last bar visit of the day. This place is located in a strip mall and has its own dedicated parking lot. Inside, they have restaurant style seating as well as a big square shaped bar. They had exclusively Revival Brewing beer on tap, plus a cider from Down East. The beers here were all decent. Service was great. Pretty good beer stop if you are in the area. |
74 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Large open area but does have sections that are windowed and has high ceilings so it has a very open look. The the beer selection is brewed on location (by Revival Brewing) Has a wide range of styles of beer which I think it would be hard to find something you don’t like. I’ve tried many of their beers and they’ve all been very good. We only had the chicken tenders which were mediocre but they did have some amazing sauces. |
76 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE A low-key place in a strip mall. Big open floor plan and large central bar. Very decent selection of taps - IPA and malt/stout centric. OK with BBQ, I suppose. Ordered a half rack of ribs. Tasty buy very chewy. These guys need to hook up with the dude from Doherty’s to learn how to make tender ribs. Beers were well made and tasty. |
74 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Excellent spot. 12 beers on - they are decent. Great chill vibe. Mac and cheese with bacon was terrific. $5 for a flight of 4 - great value. |
78 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE Stopped after bowling a few atrocious strings of duck pin. This place used to be sharkes which was bar my friends used to frequent they have completely redone the place knocked walls down brought in brewery equip and it’s a classy garage style brewpub with lots of tvs for game viewing. Saturday night was bouncing but had no prob getting booth for food and beers. BBQ was quite good. Beers were only mediocre but this is great addition to RI beer scene especially since close to my parents place. |
78 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE This is a large modern restaurant with a big square central bar and lots of booths. Beers available as flights, and everything was tasty. Food was tasty and creative too, and the server had good recommendations. More like a restaurant that brews beer, but it works. |
72 /100 505 ATWOOD AVE An open bar/restaurant with brewing equipment to the left. The beers are solid and pair well with the food. The BBQ is quite respectable for a state where I would not expect to have good BBQ, and the jambalaya could rival some Louisiana establishments. Our waiter could use better skills but he was not that bad. |
84 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD I went here to get locals to take back home and was not disappointed. They have a full row of them. The were in the first beer row and the further away from there was further away from local. A logical setup. Prices seemed reasonable and some bargains. A lot of IPAs were quite nicely priced.
This store is very clean and offers a lot of parking. It is just off I95 so is easy to find. This was the stop I was looking for. |
80 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD Came in super with my mom waiting in car so I had to run. Nice store with good selection. Tons of clown shoes and other mass and ri beers. Wish I had more time to browse but grabbed some RI brews and a sixer for tailgating at Pats game tomorrow. |
90 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD I wish I had found this place at the beginning if my weekend in Portland, instead of a couple of hours before my flight left. By far the most extensive selection in the area. Staff were helpful in pointing out sale beers (Nogne O Dark Horizon 3 for $7.99!!!). They had a lot of stuff I had not seen elsewhere. Start here. |
64 /100 Twin Oaks (Restaurant) 100 SABRA ST Twin Oaks has been around for a long time. I use to come here when I was a kid. The place is dark and brown wood panel lines the walls. Something from the 60’s or 70’s. The customer base is old, but the food and value is amazing. Daily menus with great portions. As for the beer list, sucks! |
46 /100 Another Liquor Store (Beer Store) 311 WARWICK AVENUE I stopped in here and there was practically nothing of interest to craft brewers here. Just go to IM Gan across the street. |
86 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD How have I not been to this place? It’s amazing! Right up there with Nikki’s and Wakefield Liquors for selection, easily in terms of imports. They lack a little bit of the depth and diversity of local and regional beers that I enjoy, but they did have De Cam Oude Gueze, which I have not seen elsewhere in the states. Prices seemed fair and a number of people tried to help me. Will be back, time and time again. |
78 /100 Heritage Liquors (Beer Store) 529 RESERVOIR AVE. I was surprised at how decent this store was. I remembered that someone said it was a decent stop for craft beer and they were right. This is no Nikki’s, but it’s not bad. Not a lot of crazy rare stuff, but there was Beer Geek Weasel and some other limited release imports still on the shelves. Prices were good too, being a good 5-10% below some of the other stores in the area. Will be back to investigate futher soon. |
82 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD Read the only review and stopped in. Huge selection of imports and domestic, I’m talking three grocery store half isles filled with six packs, growlers, bombers and singles. They have a mix a six program that includes the bombers but they won’t let you break up sixers, which doesn’t really matter since their selection is huge. Helpful, enthusiastic staff and there are also some glassware if they have a promotion going. |
88 /100 Wines and More of Rhode Island (Beer Store) 125 SOCKANOSSET CROSS RD I just happened to stop in here and this place is amazing. Brand new and squeaky clean. Loaded with all sorts of craft brews so that you can make as many mix packs as you can possibly drink. Prices a reasonable for the quality available. This place also sells all types of glassware to properly enjoy your brews. |
60 /100 Another Liquor Store (Beer Store) 311 WARWICK AVENUE This is a small store outside Providence that features a small but repectable aisle of bottles, including FFF, Martha’s Vineyard, Trinity, Newport and several other locals. not a big selection, but easy enough to get to. Not bad if you don’t feel like trekking into Providence and looking for a parking spot near Spiritus Fermenti for 45 minutes. |
