“Brewpub not far away from railway station. Design is really nice, you may find wide choice of food there and food is good, if you like really spicy staff try vegetarian wok with Naga chili. But as bout beer its so-so, their own beer isnt so good, and it was only 4 beers available in time of my visit. Prices are really high for India but for western people its ok. Tips were in check what I dont really like.“

“Brewery just off Connaught place. Decent selection of beer, mostly average takes on typical styles. Flights available. Service OK for India. Back area seemed more of a dance area when I was in.“

“Cool place upstairs off the main circle of Connaught Place. Was a good place to visit as one of my first beer places in India, otherwise may not be that exciting since I later saw nearly all the bottles they had elsewhere. They did have a rotating tap selection. Bartenders were awesome, and my wife had a pizza which was pretty good. They will give samples of stuff on tap. Prices high for India.“

“Upstairs from the small street entrance you enter into a long bar with loads of fridges of bottles and a more loungy area behind and modern semi warehouse decor.  There’s 14 taps and around 70 bottles with a selection of international (though not hugely exciting) stuff and some interesting local bottles sprinkled in there.  Service is friendly and helpful enough though the place around the bar somehow manages to be annoyingly busy even though it’s not that busy.“

58 /100 JANPATH, CONNAUGHT PLACE, 1/2 SCINDIA HOUSE
“A fairly small ground floor bar but with plenty of spare seating when I visited around lunchtime.  Not sure if the had any more space upstairs.  While there only seems to be 3 taps, they have a selection of around 40+ bottles with some Belgian, German and UK imports as well as some of the local Indian craft offerings that you see around here.  Strangely when I was given the menu the guy told me only about 5 of there beers were available but there were loads visible in the fridges so no problem in the end.  Aside from that service was helpful and friendly enough without being in your face.  Normal prices for the area.  One gripe is that the free WiFi seems to have a ridiculously small data limit before you’re blocked off.  One beer rating, a couple of WhatsApps and a couple of photo uploads on Facebook then bye-bye, no more WiFi!  Shame.  Food had a lot of bizarre western concoctions though I opted for a paneer tikka which made from a decent small lunch.“

“A deceiving place at first as you come in through a grand entrance to a fairly small bar with brewing equipment behind.  Firstly, they don’t brew like their branch in Gurgaon.  It’s not allowed here in Delhi.  Secondly, there’s a lot more to this place than just the bar at the entrance.  Stairs from the outside area at the back take you to too much larger and busier rooms.  Decor is cool dark semi industrial and the lack of fresh brewed beer is replaced by a relatively small selection of bottles but does include some interesting local brews.  Service was quick and helpful.  Generally a nice place to hang out for a few and escape the noise and bustle of outside.“

46 /100 JANPATH, CONNAUGHT PLACE, 1/2 SCINDIA HOUSE
“This place has a decent selection of international brews and some more unusual local ones. The prices are on the high side especially when you tack on the 20% alcohol VAT. I ordered the chicken tikka maggi which sounded interesting but was not so great.“

62 /100 JANPATH, CONNAUGHT PLACE, 1/2 SCINDIA HOUSE
“Visited June 2014. The place is sort of hidden in the dark along the Janpath side of the Scindia House, and is easy to pass by. It looked to completely deserted from the outside, but the doors opened and there were creatures inside. The selection is most likely outstanding compared to what is normal in Delhi (which is why I gave it a 12). They had something like 40 bottles and 3-4 taps at the time, but according to their website they could have around 60 bottles - including some good Germans and freakin’ Chimay. I went for a Paulaner Salvator, which was excellent. The service was good, the place was nice and laid back, and central. I didn’t try the food.“

“Well it is an hotel bar and not a place for us beer-affecionados, but besides the unavoidable Kingfisher and Fosters, luckily they also have cold and frosty Carlsberg and Tuborg. Rejoice! Very attentive staff. Just waaay too expensive @ 400 IR/beer“

“Nice hotel, efficiently run. Bar has only a few macros, though, but you can get local beer here. Only worthwhile if you’re staying here though. There are better things to do in Delhi.“

“The Lounge Bar at the hotel has the best draught selection around: Stella Artois, Hoegaarden Wit and Fosters Lager. Snacks like hummus are tasty also. No smokinmg allowed. View of quiet backyard greenery withouy traffic noise. Beers cost 474 Rupees (~$10US) for a 12-ounce glass, including a punative 25% government alcohol tax. Relatively speaking, an oasis in a beer wasteland.“
