“a superb village local which was originally a coaching house on the leeds to halifax turnpike. good central bar area, two smaller drinking areas and a large restaurant room, outside covered and heated smoking area and a small outsude drinking patio with central plant and water feature. the landlord and hs wife and superb bar team have turned a humdrum pub into a real hub of the village. cask ales are always on hand pump with a stunning selection of beers many from yorkshire. a great pub well worth visiting if in the area. landlord george is a keen cask ale drinker and holds a beer festival every year which supports a local charity“
