“New bar in Escalante just open one year, small bar with pool table, small menu with pretty good quality food. Has wine and liquor as well as 5 taps and 23 bottles- some mass swill, the rest Utah micros - Squatters, Wasatch, Unita- no Epic when I was here. Had Guinness on draft as well. Had a couple pints and street tacos - I like the place.“

“Stopped in for dinner and had the fantastic pizza. They had a few Utah drafts - 4 %, a number of low abv mass market shit and Utah low abv specials in bottles. They had a hand full of “full strength “ beers mainly from Epic, and three, the Belgian golden ale, the dopplebock, and the 825 stout are what we picked up at Epic in Salt Lake 4 days ago. So I think who ever is buying their full strength beers gets it. Great place in an out of the way area.“

“We stopped in here for breakfast, but I’m still going to count it. This place is a gear shop primarily, with cabins, campsites, guide services, etc. They also have a cafe and bar attached to the shop. Rustic feel, and cozy, with a nice covered patio area. The employees were very friendly. Four Utah taps, plus a pretty reasonable cooler. The breakfast food we had was very good, and the pizza menu looks enticing. I didn’t get a look at the beer prices, so I can’t speak to the beer value, but the food was pretty expensive. This place looks like a good stop for a post-hike beer and pizza, and is a small oasis in a very empty area.“
