“This is pretty much every Eugenian's go to grocery store, although The Bier Stein is their go-to bottle shop. Nonetheless, the selection here is large with an emphasis on local and regional and the prices are good. And of course you can pick up beer snax at the same time.“

“More properly called Viking Brewing, this place does not brew braggot, they simply use honey (sometimes a lot of honey) in most (but not all) of their beer recipes. At this location they also have exceptional food - very tasty and creative. The beer is good as well, mostly highly attenuated and dry, and a lower abv than you'd expect from a braggot. The also have a pretty remarkable selection of aquavit, also available in flights of five, just like the beers, but in prettier glassware. Well worth a visit.“

“This neighborhood has lots of food trucks, or food carts as they're known here - food truck without the truck part, more like trailers. There are about ten here, and up front is a brick and mortar (well wooden) permanent structure with two dozen beers on tap. It looks like a normal bar, a serving portion and a couple of barstools, plus some bar tables. The food carts are outside, under temporary plastic roofing. You can sit inside or out, you can order beer first then food or the other way around, or only one of the above. You can order either from your table as well. Just pay attention to which food carts are open on the day you visit - there is at least one closed at any given time. This is the same setup that Oakshire Public House houses, except that there is greater beer and greater food variety here.“

“Modern storefront type place. Bar with half a dozen stools, a few bar tables, and the rest are restaurant tables. Lots of staff but poor service, disorganized and slow. Out of almost half the taplist, so that tells me they probably have a very small brewhouse (remote). Taplist in three sections, traditional, milkshake and hoppy (not the actual names, but you get the point). No flights per se, but any beer is available in 4, 8, 12 or 16 ounce pours. Beers were mostly tasty with at least one complete miss. Food is basic pub grub. Service needs work.“

“Huge place, ski lodge an apt description, b ut maybe stripmall ski lodge. Huge square bar up front, ski lodge tables in the rear. Nice parking lot and sidewalk patio that wraps around the building, each table with its own eternal flame. Solid draft list, flights of four available. Coolers line one wall, organized by flavor profile. Fully half the coolers are non-US beers. Order food and beer from the server if you're sitting at the bar, or from the serving portion of the bar if you're elsewhere, a solid system. Deserves its place at the top in Eugene.“

“Middle of nowhere, in a good way. Small taproom with a serving bar and a view of the brewhouse. Large tent over picnic tables plus more picnic tables out in the sun on a grassy slope overlooking the volcanic landscape. Adirondack chairs, which are probably called something else on this coast. Peace disturbed by fou SUVs full of four year olds having a birthday party, but the outdoor space was large enough to absorb it. Barrel aged beers are the specialty here, ranging from saisons to pastry stouts, and one spontaneously fermented option. My flight was free since I bought three bottles. Staff knew the beers well. Kitchen was closed, but they had a nice cheese plate. Solid destination brewery.“

“This is a nice little taproom with a serving bar, couple of stools at the far end, and a few bar tables. They have a massive tent with picnic tables set up in the parking lot that is bigger than the entire taproom. The best part is that are half a dozen food trucks scattered around the parking lot; but check the opening hours - most are closed early in the week and some only open on the weekends. In addition to the Oakshire beers, the taproom also had a guest barleywine from Fort George brewing and ciders from two different local cideries.“

“This site is no longer open to the public, although apparently some brewing (?pilot batch) and storage occurs here. This was the site of the original Oakshire taproom.“

“Restaurant style taproom tacked onto the front of the production facility. You can see the heads of the brewery staff bobbing up and down but you can't really see what they're doing. Taplist is mostly hazies and fruited IPAs. I had the saison which tasted like a lager, and toasted ravioli, comfort food that hasn't changed since I first saw it in Vegas in the 70s. No evidence of their Golden Colorado ownership. Tasting the one beer did not make me want to order another. Proof that the bigs boys should not try to copy craft beer.“

“Stopped in for lunch. It's in an old house that's hard to spot as you're driving by until you're right on top of it. No dedicated parking, but there are free spaces just around the corner. The usual. beer list. Server knew the beers extremely well and was generous with samples. Food was tasty. m I'd return.“

“This is a diner next to the bottle shop. They have a fridge with 20ish cans. Good breakfast. If you need a beer in the morning this is the place, since most of the places open later on. Had one of Great Notion smoothies for breakfast.“

“Countryside brewery with beautiful views even on a rainy day. Cozy yet modern interior. Attentive and professional service, they were kind enough to explain all about the beer flight we got. About 12 taps and 10-15 bottles, mostly their own beer. Quality is very good to excellent, plenty of different styles. They had some burgers and salads, some sandwiches as well, but with a twist. Nice detour from our itinerary and well worth extra miles.“

“Thank goodness for early openings! Walked in right at the stroke of 11AM. Service was ready to go. Decent selection of taps, small pours available. Kind of modern in design. Good use of a storefront location to keep it bright.“

“What a place! Wide open space resemebles kind of a ski lodge. Huge wall of coolers for packaged product, a real wide variety. Deep taplist too. Busy on a Saturday night, but it didn't feel crowded. So much to choose from. Great service too.“

“Corner location, off street parking available. Kind of a weird setup inside. One spot for taking order for both food and drinks, so it can get backed up if crowded. No real visible taplist. Kind of a clunky ordering system. Seating area is split level (no bar) across three levels. Decent views from tier. Service was OK, not great. Beers were average. Fodd was pretty good.“

“A fun stop during our ASEH brewing tour of Eugene. Got an introduction to WildCraft's process from one of the brewers, the ciders were quite good, as was the conversation.“

“Great spot near the downtown, with a large (heated) patio out front and a fairly expansive interior. 20 taps of their own beers, with flights of 4 available. Wide variety of styles available, with some of their sexy extreme beers available. Friendly, helpful, quick service. One of the veteran breweries from Eugene that still push the envelope and remain one of the best in the game. Highly recommended if in Eugene.“

“Rather small place down an alley. I actually had difficulty finding the place. Walked completely around the block before I found the alley. There is limited onsite parking. Mostly long benches with a few tables. Brewing operations behind some class to the right. Good music playing. Food available which seems to be season, local and very limited but good. Decent selection of beers. Mostly malt forward beers but a regular changing lineup which is nice.“

“I’d imagine this place cost a lot to heat. First it’s pretty large and open. Second, the temp would make my beer fridge blush. Overlap, the service was efficient and quick. Food come in the form of about 1-4 food trucks dependent on time of day. The beer is okay but covers a large style range.“

“Stopped in here on a rainy evening while exploring the area. A smaller bottle shop but with a well curated selection. The tap list was varied and interesting with multiple sizes available. Service was decent but it seemed the employee’s friends were there and she didn’t pay us all that much attention because of it. Not really a big deal just mildly frustrating. Anyhow, a very nice shop with good beer. Nothing wrong with that.“

“A small and quiet shop with a good selection of bottles, kept mostly warm, and a nice tap lineup. Few people here on a rainy weeknight. A few of the barkeepers friends showed up and service slowed a bit, but still solid. Nothing stands out here but it is a nice stop when in town.“

“We stopped in here during a bit of a crawl through town. It was rainy and a weeknight so mostly empty. We sat near the bar and chatted up the staff, who were very entertaining and having a laugh at one of the ... more interesting people they were serving that night. Service was quick and friendly with good knowledge of what they were serving. The drinks were all very good quality and served as the perfect rainy evening date spot. This would be a great regular boozer for me. Comfy, cozy, friendly, with good bites and beers. Highly enjoyable.“

“My wife and I stopped in a couple times during our brief stay in Eugene. We had a couple different experiences which averaged out to the score I’m giving it. They offer a large selection of to go/on site bottles in fridges. I liked the organization, made it easy to find what you wanted. The taps are on a large TV screen with descriptions and offered in multiple sizes. There was plenty of indoor seating and some nice patio seating, too. People watching is a thing here as there is apparently a Pokémon Go hangout or something right across the street. Not my thing, but lots of characters for sure. The payment system was dumb; one line for taps and for bottles for on-site consumption, a separate line for to-go bottles. The on-site line is generally stupid long and slow while the to-go line is short and quick. I was told multiple times (sometimes extremely rude, sometimes understanding, sometimes confused why I didn’t enjoy waiting 20 minutes in line for a beer) they sometimes use the to-go line for on-site when the line gets long, but when I was standing at the entrance of the place, 20 people back from the register trying to buy a pint, I think that is a perfect time to open up the other register for on-site. That was frustrating enough to keep me away from drinking there on an even-semi-regular basis. To me, this is only useful as a to-go bottle shop, and it is a nice to-go bottle shop.“

“Located a bit outside the hopping downtown area in a older warehouse looking building along the railroad tracks. You enter into the tap room that’s done up very nice with plenty of wood and metal fittings. Has the classy rustic feel to it. The barkeep explained the ciders and let us have tastes of any of them we wanted. I went with the standard hard cider while my partner grabbed a flight of five (all 5 oz). They have three flight options (3, 5, 7). They also had one beer on tap which was a benefit beer for some local organization. The seating area is fairly small in an old loading dock garage. It was a nice night so they had the garage door up, letting in some fresh air. The seating area was done up nice too, really sticking with the classy rustic idea. We only had one app but it was very tasty. Service was friendly and pretty quick. Large windows open up to the fermentation area of the cidery. I enjoyed our time at the Cider House and would return next time I’m in Eugene. Good cider, good atmosphere, good service.“

“This rating is for the deli location. Flights of 6. Decent food (if you dont get the weird cheese glop on your fries). All of the 14 beers we samples were right down the middle....nothing great, nothing bad. Cool place with a weather theme. 25 cents off on rainy days is a nice touch!“

“Visited on 10th November 2014. Large typical US brewery taproom, industrial chic in a reasonably sized space. A good range of beers with 15 on tap. Opted for the taster flight which was hop leaf shaped which is a good touch. Beers were decent enough, service good and prices decent. Liked it.“

“One of the worst layouts you can imagine for a brewpub. Along with the rustic and dead animal decor it is hard to feel comfortable at the bar. The odd layout ensures service is a bit slow, although they are nice. Huge selection of beers and even some ciders. Flights are a bit pricey, but they give big pours and you can get free tastes. Food was surprisingly good, I had the fried Okra and was happy. With 20+ ticks a nice spot for that and a snack. Beer is all over the map in quality but a few gems.“
