“One of the 4 Little Pubs in Connecticut. They 4 rotating micros on tap, besides the regular macros, as well as 40 cans/bottles. Food menu is extensive and food is quite good. It's a good find, while traveling around.“

“Dont know if I got this place on a bad day or what. Had been waiting to try this place when I would be in the area, and finally got a chance yesterday. Dont know if it was the hype built up by the previous ratings, but this was a dissapointment. Selection is nothing big, there are many other beer stores in the area and in CT that carry more quantity and quality, I couldnt find anything unusual, the same inventory that can be found in most larger beer stores in CT. Was there for maybe 10 minutes, walking up and down the beer isles, obviously taking my time and investigating if there was anything of interest, there were maybe 4-5 people working there at the time, and NOONE came over to see if they could help. Was actually sad leaving there after such a bad experience and hoping for a new gem to be excited about.“

“Great Italian place and Pizzeria. Food is always tops here and they are serious about craft beer. The 5 rotating are craft and only craft. Today they had BBC Steel Rail, Oskar Blues Mama’s Little Yella Pils, Clipper City Loose Cannon Hop3 IPA, La Chouffe and Blue Point Toasted Lager.“

“Surprised to find a great selection of beers so close to home. Selection was pretty good with a fair number of Belgian beers that I don’t usually see in the area. Definitely the place to go for imported micro brews in the area. A reasonable selection of American beers as well. Service was fine, didn’t need to test it out since I went in with a list but the staff were willing to help. A bit pricey though.“

“What can i say, this is the store that gave me the ability to start beer tasting. This is a gem for every Fairfield University student. The selection can keep you busy for a year and the mix six is always fun. Just when me and my friends thought we had tried everything in their upscale beer section, they switched it up for the season. Some staff is good about making selection but I have had some bad experiences with this older female with short hair there. Her attitude nearly made this place nto worth it. But the great selection kept me coming back. Can’t wait to be in that area again so I can revisit.“

“Great "surprise" store. By that I mean, you need to visit every so often to discover what they have in stock (in regards to beer).“

“This is a good beer shop, probably one of the better ones around but there is a big gap between this and the top shop down the road. It has a pretty nice selection of singles but its six pack selection is lacking. The atmosphere is nice and their e-mail alerts are great. Never got a ton of help while in the store but to be fair I have never really asked. They always have a Friday tasting which is nice as well. Prices are good if not better then local competitors.“

“Harry’s is pretty good overall. They have a small wall with many craft beers and lambics. If you buy enough they will throw in a free beer glass if you ask. The staff isn’t nearly as friendly as Mo’s and they have probably half the offerings.. So there isn’t much reason to go here.“

“Couldn’t ask for a better local beer store. Really big and something new to keep me occupied each time I go. Everything from top notch American beers to some good stuff from over the pond. I’d have to say it is the best in the Bridgeport area of Connecticut.“

“Great overall selection with insightful staff. The wine selection is impressive, but who cares about that? They offer mixpack 6packs with an decent selection, tons of victory, rogue, hooker. They also arrange there singles by way of location from Maine to Cali. They is not a whole lot you cant get here... if they dont have it they will order it no questions asked. They were willing to order me Labatt Maximum Ice from Canada for me.“

“I went to Mo’s Wine and Spirits while visiting a buddy at Fairfield University. They had a great selection. Better than both the discount liquor outlet shops near my home. ROGUE DFH VICTORY and tons of belgians. Great place for beer, and hard stuff as well.“

“Harry’s is a small local liquor store that is very clean inside and airy. While their selection is not as big as Mo’s, they do stock a nice selection of German beers and a respectable collection of Belgians and English brews. They also typically will have beers brewed in CT and their prices are decent. They tend to have the BFM and higher end lambics available in the US.“

“I was really surprised when I walked into this place as it used to be a deep discount liquor store that only stocked swill. That has definitely changed. The first set of coolers stocks some great locals and there are 2 1/2 full rows of bigger beers. I picked up Newport Storm ’05 and Allagash Odyssey while there. Definitely worth a visit if in the area.

Update 2/10/06: Beware of this place if looking for limited releases. They set low limits and give people the impression they have lots in stock, but do not volunteer that information if you call them up to ask about the availibility of a certain wine/beer. This practice lowers my service rating to a 1. I doubt I’ll be back after that. If a place is going to set limits, they should be very clear about that if someone calls asking about a particular item. Not say they have lots in stock giving the impression it’s there for the buying.“

“Took a trip down here to check it out. Great selection: Rogue, Thomas Hooker, DFH, Victory, Goodies from England, Germany, and Belgium. Pretty much all the best stuff available to CT. Staff was helpful, knowledgable, and courteous, and I’m sure my rambling took up way too much of their time. Great advocates for getting good beer into Connecticut. If you’re in the area, this is a must-stop.“
