“A couple of minutes downhill from the church on the lesser slipping road, it's slightly set-back from it allowing a cobbled front patio area, which makes for a nice space to sit in during good weather. If not the wooden heavy design inside is just as pleasant. Like most Brauhaus establishments it's mostly set-up for dining, but a casual drinker turning up is more than welcome, and there's a decent enough selection of their brews to try.“

“Riverside bar below the central area, although it's actually elevated above the river by a fair bit. There's outdoor seating at its side. Inside it looks like a British chain bar with a durable wood heavy design around a long 'L' shaped service area, but it's an attractive enough open plan pub. The British Isles and U S. beers available give it a rather plain selection but a local cider might be available.“

“This Brauerei was a nice stop for lunch on my way to Friedrichshafen, DE from Zurich. The place is fairly large, with multiple dining halls and a bar near the center. There were several house beers available on draught. I enjoyed a couple offerings alongside my lunch, all of good quality. The service was attentive and the prices in line with the region.“

“Excellent place! 4 regulars + rotation of 4 seasonals + 4 very strong ales in bottles. Food & setting are also on top level. Extremely worth of your visit!“

“10 different beers available from the brewer. Great food, and they even do a wonderfully tasty Bierfondue -- cheese fondue made with their Barley Wine and Malt-Liquor rather than the usual white wine and kirsch. Ramp sales of their beers on Friday and Saturday, but smaller quantities can be purchased to-go at any point. Oh, and try the bagels!“

“They have 4 different beers available, some of them are quite good, e.g. the Hefeweizen. Quite expensive Wortmann beer also on offer. Staff were not too helpful and friendly, I was not allowed to take a coaster/beermat with me, and they don’t sell them. But if you’re near, try it.“

“January 2002: In my notes from my visit here, the nicest thing I had to say was to compliment their logo! The beer wasn’t popular with my crew and the staff was kinda snooty, at least to us touristy Americans. That said, even the worst breweries in this part of the world are very good, so I’d still say go seek out this place ... they have an interesting lineup of beers, including an American-style Honey Brown.“
