70 /100 Brasserie Posten (Restaurant) 6216 GEIRANGER I have to admit that I was surprised by the beer selection. Absolutely decent for a tiny place like Geiranger. Lovely pizza also. So if you happens to be in this village. This is the place to go. Nice view if the harbor also. But beware…..crowded during summer time. Tons of tourists. |
78 /100 Brasserie Posten (Restaurant) 6216 GEIRANGER For a small town like this, fully focused on tourists and cruise ships unloading they have a nice selection. Although the one I ordered just wasn’t there. Nice service and very good food to. Like the place. Don’t discuss the prices, this is Norway. |
74 /100 Brasserie Posten (Restaurant) 6216 GEIRANGER My score for selection is heavily influenced by the size of the village Geiranger. It’s a very small town or village, but the selection at Posten was really nice. Expensive, yes, but not extreme for a Norwegian restaurant. We ended up eating another place, but I’d certainly go back here if I for some reason return to Geiranger. Would love to see the area in sunlight and not low altitude clouds and fog. |
76 /100 Brasserie Posten (Restaurant) 6216 GEIRANGER Came to Brasserie Posten to have dinner. When they gave me the menu, they had a decent beer menu, with some interesting norwegian beers (nogne, hsndbryggeriet, lervig,...). The food was great, the staff was friendly, prices as expensive as everything in Norway. If you stop at Gerianger and want a good beer, go there. |
