“Really great spot a few minutes from the shopping in North Conway. Guy behind the counter was jovial and happy to have shop around and pick up singles at my leisure. Good selection of US micros as well as a pretty fair selection of world stuff. Kind of messy layout, but all things considered this was the best place I found in this area.“

“Has a general store more than an organized liquor store feel. Fun to wander around and find beer, but would be hard if you’re looking for something in particular. Basic New England selection, with some suprise west coast entries. Not too pricey. Check best-by dates as some of the beers can be past their prime.“

“Stopped here after taking my granddaughter to Storyland. Hey, how many of you have met Cinderella and bought beer in the same afternoon. Pretty decent selection. Most of the usual stuff you’ll find in NH. Allagash, Smuttynose, Samuel Smith, Victory, Stone, Gritty McDuff, etc, etc. Prices are fair and you are allowed to mix 6 packs. On the negative side, lets just say housekeeping and presentation are not this stores strong points. Place was dark and dusty with bottles kind of randomly placed. It is however, the bottle shop in the White Mountain area.“

“2 hour drive south and you’ve got the excellent Boston area beerstores (Julio’s being the best) and 2 hour drive north-west and you’ve got the excellent Burlington area beerstores (Winooski being the best). But if you’re stuck in the middle of these two areas (which happens to be the middle of nowhere) then Glen’s probably your best choice. No special beer there but a decent selection of the classic Allagash, Rogue, Ommegang, Alesmith, Long Trail, Smuttynose, Dogfish, Sierra Nevada, Victory, etc. No special release seem to find their way there, only the regular releases were on the shelves when I was there. A nice place to stack up on the classics at a decent price. This is more like a big convenience corner store lost on a rural street with a third of the floor space reserved for beer.“

“This place had the reputation of being one of the best spot to buy beers in NH. Living in Quebec, it’s not a neighborhood I go through often, but since it’s so close to Ebenezer, it could happen from time to time. The sad fact is that I have to recognize that since Vermont’s increase to 14% as ABV limit, Glen Beverage is totally owned by Burlington’s store which are a far closer option that is almost on the way. Here, the selection is limited mostly to very widely distributed beers like Rogue, Samuel Adams, Stone and the likes. Unless you live in NH, you’ll definitely find a better range in most other US States.“

“Very good small beer store on Rte. 16 right near Story Land. Sign says over 200 beers. Has pretty much everything covered for NH, as well as ME and VT. Some European stuff as well, small selection of Belgians. Will find good selection of Rogue, Unibroue, Smuttynose and DFH. Make-your-own 6-pack for $8.99.“

“If you’re in the North Conway area, this is the place. Located at the start of Rt. 16 in Glen- decent prices, with the usual New Hampshire brands: Unibroue (I found plenty of 2004, 2005 and 15), Magic Hat, Long Trail, Tuckerman’s and a few Rogue brews. Probably the most well-stocked of all NH beer stores, in my opinion. Service is quite friendly and the mixed singles are a plus!“

“Best store I found in the Mount Washington area. Good selection of local micros, plus regulars from Stone, Victory, Ommegang, Unibroue, Rogue, Allagash, Samuel Smith’s, etc. Not worthy of national acclaim, but very good for the region and prices are reasonable. You can break 6-packs into singles, which is always fun. If you want a bit more selection in Northern New England, Winooski ( Vermont) is still your best bet in my opinion and experience. Oh, check out bottling dates on the lighter brews. Ex: I grabbed a 6-pack of Prima Pils, but at the counter I noticed it was a few weeks past its "drink before" date. That’s okay for some styles, but not for a pils, I’m afraid! “
