MAIN STREET “Granted I was there when it first opened so it was not very crowded so I got great service, place is clean and friendly in a neighborhood bar so of way. Did not try the food this visit. I visited New Oberpfalz on their opening weekend and I’ve been back several times since. Each time has been better than the last... with increasingly better service and an ever-growing beer menu. The food menu is "snacky" but satisfies your need for salty-solids. This is a "taproom" and could be considered on the small-side for those accustomed to brewpubs. But the close atmosphere forces you to sit down and actually MEET people. (Maybe I’m just lucky, but everyone I’ve met here has been über-friendly and have shared some really cool stories.) In a nutshell, these guys brew good beers they are proud of, and you can taste that (literally and figuratively). You can also feel that this is a place which is proud of their community, and that the locals are proud to have them.
