“Nice beer garden outside, inside plenty of natural light, smaller bar area, nice clean tap room. Like the old school hard rock music playing not overly loud. beers were decent, lager and German styles prevail and that is good but I love the Imperial stout as well.“

“Granted I was there when it first opened so it was not very crowded so I got great service, place is clean and friendly in a neighborhood bar so of way. Did not try the food this visit. A few TV’s. Nice variety of beers from tasty lagers to IPA’s to stouts. Pretty good value too! I will be back and next time try the food too.“

“Converted garage pub. Had to go to bar to order and bartender seemed pissed because he couldn’t hear us over the TVs (but did calm down later on - must have been having a bad day). Food available but have to go to a side window to order and pick up. Okay - not a destination on its own but convenient to several other destinations.“

“Nice brewpub in quiet neighborhood. Good selection of beers with obviously some nice German styles. Very flexible flights. Food limited to snack items. A great place. Street parking only but not difficult at all.“

“What a cool little place in a cool little town that has recently witnessed a healthy craft-brewery injection. I visited New Oberpfalz on their opening weekend and I’ve been back several times since. Each time has been better than the last... with increasingly better service and an ever-growing beer menu. The food menu is "snacky" but satisfies your need for salty-solids. This is a "taproom" and could be considered on the small-side for those accustomed to brewpubs. But the close atmosphere forces you to sit down and actually MEET people. (Maybe I’m just lucky, but everyone I’ve met here has been über-friendly and have shared some really cool stories.) In a nutshell, these guys brew good beers they are proud of, and you can taste that (literally and figuratively). You can also feel that this is a place which is proud of their community, and that the locals are proud to have them. The epitome of, "let’s sit down, have a beer, and talk."“
