| 74 /100 Frank’s Package Store (Beer Store) 15 BOSTON ST “Visited on a Friday afternoon. They have a good selection of liquor, wine, and beer, with quite a bit of the craft beer being CT made. Almost all of it is coolers toward the back of the shop. Unfortunately they do not allow you to break up the 4/6 packs. If a place would start doing that in CT, I think I could be a game changer for them. I left with just 1 bottle, whereas I would have bought another 6 pack or more if I was allowed to mix and match. Oh well. Maybe there is some law that doesn’t allow it. Regardless, service was very good here. The person working was very helpful and made great recommendations for me.“ |

Inside, you’ll find a smallish store that stocks a decent amount of hard to find Belgian brews. They also stock Opa Opa, Berkshire Brewing, Carlson, NeBCO, Thomas Hooker, Cottrell, Olde Burnside regularly. Not a big selection, but worth noting as they carry most local breweries some of which are hard to track down even within CT. The store employees are all personable and very helpful and their prices are on par with most smaller package stores that carry craft beer in the state.“ |
