“The Heine Bräu Brauhaus is located at The Villa Heine, a beuatiful restored vintage villa just 2 minutes from Halberstadt Main Central Station. The bar is very nice and looks like an old britisch Gentlemens Club. 2 own brewed beers on tap. Didnt tried on tap, took two nice bottles (each 1L, less than 5€)nwith me to try. Restaurant is very good, but more expensiv as useual in this area. Very kindly staff.“

“Located in a hotel off the centre of Halberstadt, this is essentially a hotel restaurant brewing its own beer. The selection is, well, what it is: a decent Pilsener and a less-than-charming Schwarzbier. The staff are polite but rather disinterested. Reasonable prices. No reason to be back but happy to have rated.“

“Visited on Sunday evening in late November this place is a short stroll from the Hbf and then the same distance through the hotel. Arrived in the bar as a couple left and the number of staff equalled the customers (2 of us and them!). Beer was OK, 2 available. Splash and dash to tick the beers in an hour is achievable!“

“We went to the brewpub for lunch when passing through and it wasn’t that easy to find - we were walking through th ewhole hotel and spa. When we finally arrived we were the only people there - what a pity. The service was very neutral but okay, unfortunately they only had two beers on tap. We also ordered lunch - seasonal lamb stew and some french fries for our daughter. Fries were great, so was the stew. Prices were little bit too high but acceptable anyway. Nice brewpub but no flair and no big pleasure overall.“

“Visited in Jan ’11. In theory about a 5 minute walk from the HBF but between 6 of us we balls’ed this right up and spent 15 minutes wandering round a 60’s GDR council estate before some bloke on a bike pointed us in the right direction! The venue is a modern looking large single roomed place, coppers on display, adjoining a hotel/spa. We arrived about 5pm on a Friday and the place was dead, we left around 6ish and still no one else had rocked up! 2 beers on tap, Helles and wiezen during our visit plus we had a bottle of the dunkels. Service fine - but as stated we were the only drinkers! Ok place - beers were acceptable just lacking in other punters mainly!“

“At the rear of this rather posh spa hotel is this up market brewpub. The beers are excellent. Only 5 minutes walk from Halberstadt station.“
