“This is the taproom at the Brewery in Hayle. There are 2 other establishments in St. Ives, one near the front called The Art of Brewing, the other at the top end of St. Ives, not as yet added on here. This is a very modern looking brewery, shiny stainless and easy clean flooring with a rather smart taproom to the front. Plenty of seating to be had and 8 taps and one hand-pull in operation on our visit. All taps dispensed St. Ives Brewery beers. It's behind an out of town shopping centre on a small industrial estate the wrong side of the by pass, so it takes some getting to, but there is a bus from central Hayle.“

“Admins, please note, this place has moved (see brewery entry or Google maps, it's now easy walking distance from St Ives town centre). Found this place by accident. I did a coach trip to St Ives and this unassuming place was right next to the coach car park. It really should have better signs as you had to be really close to even notice it. There's a café at street level (but I didn't have time to visit) and a shop (and I believe the brewery but I was in a rush). I had time to buy 6 of their beers/ciders for 1.60 including a carrier.“

“Just a warning. We were in St Ives not so long ago and didn’t find anythng to suggest this place has any visitor facilities. Nothing about visitor facilities on the website or facebook page either. In fact, I’m not even sure the beers are produced here as the Good Beer Guide states that they are contract brewed at Keltek. Of course, things might have changed since we were in town but anyone thinking of visiting would be well advised to check with the brewery first. Default score given“

“The Bird in Hand is home to the Paradise Brewery. The pub is housed in a grand old stable block by the entrance to a bird park and the brewery is in outhouses round the back. There are 10 hand pumps with mainly their own beers and a couple of guests (Greene King London Glory and Brains SA when we were there) as well as ten keg taps. At one end of the capacious bar there’s a small stage where they have live music and an open mic night; at the other there’s a interesting large mural showing Hayle in 1890. Two heavy horses pulling carts along a rail line up the hill from the industrial scene below look ready to walk right into the real life building, where there are hayracks and irons on the wall for hanging up tack. There remain some ornate iron dividers between the stalls and three horses - Brandy, Gregory and Silver – have their names above their tack stands. (Visited 26 March 2012).“

“Brewpub with a very small brewery out back and one beer on, plus a guest handle. Owners were friendly - they also run the bird park. They brew simply for the love of brewing and because it is traditional for that pub. Pretty cool.“

“Brewpub near the bird park and owned by the same people. Building is a former horse stable. The owner of it all is the brewer and is a labor of love. Tiny operation, at the time only brewing one at a time.“
