“Nice place by the fjord. Very easy to find. It is beside the road…..not up in the hill side. Someone will probably not read this. But if someone actually read this... There is a restaurant here. You can relax and eat some good food. Also possible to have a bath from the pier. Excellent view of the fjord Hardangergutane cidery is also located here.“

“Another one far up in the hill side. The cidery is under construction at the moment (2021) And if you wonder: the farmer (bonden) is a female Very service minded and nice person! In my book they produces the best cider in this area “

They were not around at my visit “

“Easy-to-find cidery which only had one cider available when I visited 21.08.21. I had rated this cider before, but bought another bottle, as it was a good cider. As with other cideries in the area, the selection will be wider when Christmas is approaching. Friendly staff.“

“An easy stop from the main road, just a few meters off the road. Spacious bottleshop and you can also see their cider production line to the left. Very friendly and talkative service. Ciders from Hardangergutane are not hard to find but here you have all bottles available. Many different (eplemost) apple juice to chose from too. I had to enjoy a cold bottle n/a apple juice! Their apple farm is located up the hill from the fjord. Hardangergutane need moore apples than their small farm can offer, so they buy apples from other neighboring orchards. (Visited June 19th 2021 with my wife)“

“Brand new cidery! From the main road Rv 13, follow the sign to Sekse and you will easy find the cidery. Beware, the road is narrow and steep! I had made an appointment by sms. When we arrived they were working on the foundation of the new cidery. The 2021 ambiance is more like a construction site. The bottles were stored and sold from an old barn. Two ciders and two apple juice. The 2020 vintage is bottled by Hardangergutane, the neighboring cidery downhill to the fjord. From autumn 2021, Hardangerbonden will do all the work themselves. Hardangerbonden or "The farmer from Hardanger" is actually a woman named Ingrid. Very service minded! (Visited June 19th 2021 with my wife) Visited again May 27th 2022. New building for production and sales. More ciders available this time. I will raise the score from the original 3.5.“

“Easy located at the narrow main road between Odda and Lofthus. The cidery and shop is like a big store building and not at the actually apple farm as many of the other cideries in the area. The small shop has the usually display of available products and the salesman had god knowledge about their products.“
