66 /100 Probka na Kletskova (Beer Store) KLETSKOVA, 15A Beer store with good (for Hrodna) beer selection, craft Belarusian and Russian beers, some macro crap. You can have a beer on the spot. |
84 /100 Pogruzenije (Bar) SOVETSKAYA 18 First verified multitap in the center. 5 taps in winter but promised to make 12 soon. Good choise of imported bottle beers. I think the best central located bar for beergeek |
78 /100 Gastrobar Werden (Bar) MOSTOVAYA, 31 Nice pub in the very center. Provides draft beers from "12 litar" craft brewery from Brest, Also some bottles of foreign and local crafts.Pretend to be a gastro pub,so the food is not usual and quite expensive by Belorussian standard. The only place with draft craft in center. Worth visiting |
64 /100 Korona (Grocery Store) PROSPEKT YA. KUPALY 16A Lcated outside the city centre, this shopping centre features an American size supermarket, offering all kinds of foodstuffs and drinks imaginable. The beer section comprises three sets of shelves, on which you can find vritually any Belorussian macro, a few Russian, Baltic and German ones, and a handful of local craft beers, too. The prices are low by EU standards. If you are in the area and fancy bottled beer from the country, here is probably your choice of place to get them. |
64 /100 Beer Restaurant Neman (Restaurant) STEFANA BATORIYA, 8 Located in the heart of the city, close to Lenin Square, this venue is ssentially a hotel restaurant located in a basement. Heavily inspired by German and other Western European concepts, it features a dark wooden tables and an English-style bar, ads for Paulaner, Oktoberfest and other macro merchandise adorning the dimly lit room. The staff are friendly and polite, mand they readily serve the (relatively) local Lidskoe on tap or a bottle of a German or English macro. The food is of easonable quality - I had the local "machanka" - slices of sausage immersed in a kind of cheesy sause with onions, mserved on four small pancakes - and it was quite decent. Not expensive, mat least by EU standards. Apart from the Korona shopping centre probably the only place in town to go for a reasonable beer, and thus worth a visit. |
