“Visited in Autumn 2017. This is a stereotypical rural Czech drinking den, with all its flaws but also shortcomings. The village itself is worth visiting, since it sports an interesting castle, but this brewery is only something for the hardcore ticker. Obscure wooden interior, where a lack of sticky tables due to spilled beer would be perceived as out of the ordinary, a small patio that looks like a former farmyard and three mediocre beers. In exchange you get an authentic local feel, although it is doubtful whether you will manage to cherish it to the full extent when you come from the West and don't speak Czech. I liked the murals, though.“

“Village pub with 2 nice brews. Good, but nothing really special.“

“Établissement visité le jeudi 7 mars vers 14h00. Ambiance: Bar miteux dans un village hors des circuits touristiques habituels. Photos des habitués sur le mur. Service: Service en langue tchèque, de toute façon les touristes sont assez rare ici. Sélection: 2 bières maisons en fût et 1 fût de Radegast. (209e rating d’établissement)“

“Welcoming party of three chickens as we stepped out of the taxi in front of this "brewpub" (read rundown village bar). The bar was open, and everything was still inside, including both regulars sitting and the barman/owner that stood behind his bar. The walls are covered with a thick coat of burnt sticky tar over the peppermint green wall covering. Anyhow, we tried both beers on tap, they were drinkable but not very good per se, I would not recommend coming here unless you like to do people watching in foreign countries.“

“Oh boy. Workers’ tavern which happens to be a brewpub. Somewhat reminiscent of Velichov brewpub due to the unkempt nature of the place. Atmosphere is as strange as can be. A few locals sitting alone on different tables, in complete silence. Bartender (owner, surely) staring blankly at the wall until he felt like offering a couple of vodka shooters to the locals. They actually large pictures of the tavern dwellers on the walls!! Oy... House beers were characterful and not your usual Svetly and Polotmavy flavors, although one seemed old. Anyway, this is difficult to get to, so don’t go out of your way to come here. But if you are in the area, try out Valassky Pivovar Kozlovice 6kms away. And then come here to stare in disbelief at this faded village tavern.“
