“2021-10-22. It's a pretty standard LCBO layout and decor. They had a surprisingly decent craft beer selection with the likes of Bellwoods, Great Lakes, Town and more. It's a much better craft beer selection than I expected farther north and you’ll find something worth drinking. I specifically came in after seeing that they had a beer from Gateway City which was a new to me brewery and saved me a trip to North Bay to check them off my list :) “

“2023-12-30. Nice space, we sat inside this time :) We enjoyed the comfy chairs around the corner, which are right by the bathrooms but farther from the conversations in the main bar area which suited us today. We were tempted by some of the games but a few are missing pieces unfortunately. Friendly staff. They had a good mix of beers and styles on today. Of the eight we tried they varied from just okay to pretty good, and were on average better than on our last visit. The ones I didn't care for were mostly a matter of personal taste than quality. Flights of four, or six if you pick from the "core" beers, the latter of which is the better value. Worth a visit if in the area. 2021-10-22. We opted for a very chilly patio for COVID reasons. Nice enough seating area inside seemed nice and fairly quiet on a Friday afternoon. We didn’t check to see if the large rooftop patio was open or not. Friendly server. 16 taps and a good range of styles available. Of the five beers we tried most seemed to have some solventy / harsh estery phenolic undertones that made me wonder if they have issues with the lines or their fermentation. Mabel didn't notice this as much so I guess it's possible it was just me. Some food trucks in the area but only one seemed open today. Cool murals on the outside walls. Worth a visit if you are in town, and I would consider coming back to give it another shot, but my first impressions of the beer disappointed at an otherwise nice spot.“
