Holdbart Klepp (Grocery Store)
JÆRHAGEN, SOLAVEGEN 25
“I have visited this store frequently but has not been willing to add it to places at RateBeer. There are 14 more Holdbart stores in Norway. I have also visited the store in Haugesund. More or less the same beer selection. The selection varies from bad to half decent. Mostly beers from breweries such as Nøisom, Fjordfolk, Lofotpils, Berentsens, Oslo Brewing Co but also some beers from Ægir and Nøgne Ø. I have never found new beers from "good breweries" but quite a few from those I don't want to pay full price for. Much better beer selection in Coop Mega grocery store in the same shopping center.“

Holdbart Klepp (Grocery Store)
JÆRHAGEN, SOLAVEGEN 25
“This is a grocery store / supermarket that specializes in items (including beers) that are close to "best before" date. I have shopped here several times, but the beer selection has previously been quite limited. Now it is better, and some of the beers are hard to find in the normal grocery stores around here. The prices are also somewhat lower at Holdbart. Well worth a visit to see if you can get a few ticks.“

Vinmonopolet Klepp (Beer Store)
JÆRHAGEN SENTER, SOLAVEGEN 25
“Medium sized Vinmonopolet store in Jærhagen. Somewhat bigger beer selection now, a few surprises might turn up. Located next to Coop Mega (which you no doubt will also check out when you're here), and even Holdbart in the same shopping centre might be worth a go for a tick or two.“

Coop Mega Kleppe (Grocery Store)

“Big supermarket at the Jærhagen shopping mall, with lots of food, but also a decent beer selection, especially of Norwegian micros. Also some foreign beers, but not equally impressive selection there. Well worth a visit, you are bound to get some new ticks here.“

“For a supermarket out in the sticks, this one has a large and well stocked beer department (with big fridges if you’re in desperate need for a spontaneous rating or two).“

“Rather impressed of this place, got their own beer department with large fridges. More than 100 different beers at my visit, lots of Norwegian micros, all from Lervig, amongst them, also some Mikkeller, Skovlyst and UK beers. Well wort to seek out if passing by. (Visited 25.5.16)“

“A small Vinmonopolet store in a shopping center. Rather basic selection and you don’t have to make a detour to seek for new beer ticks. A store for locals. (Visited December 13th 2014)“

Coop Mega Kleppe (Grocery Store)

“Grei butikk med standard utvalg + noe utenom. Skulle ønske utvalge av Ikke fabrikkøl var noe større, men det kommer nok det også etterhvert. Stort pluss for at de har et stort eget ryddig og oversiktlig kjølerom for øl.“

“Stort separat kjølerom bare for øl. Her finners det vanlige utvalget, men dessuten også flere spesialiteter.“

“This cooperative supermarked food chain stands out with a seperate cold room for beer. More than 75 different beer, mostly Norwegian lagers, but also a nice selection from Nøgne Ø and Ægir. You will also find all beers up to 4,7 % from local breweries as Lervig and Berentsens. By the way, I spotted a new crap lager in Norwegian shelves; Oranjeboom Premium Lager. Ok for the tick....
