“Just opened a few weeks ago and already the community is really enjoying this new hangout. The ambiance and decorations are amazing, brick mixed with old wood from the Train Depot that came before it. Standard list of beer but that will change once the brewery side of this is up and running. No food for purchase but there are a couple local restaurants next door that bring food right to your table while you’re there which is awesome. Overall I’ve been a few times and just love the local feel and communal aspect of this place. No TV’s distracting you or extremely loud music. Lots of board games for you to play (or bring your own) as well as it being dog and kid friendly. Cheers!“

“Brewpub with less than average beer, but food is passable with some decent selections of bbq. Ambiance is typical of most brewpubs so nothing too special but not terrible. Overall its not a bad place to grab some food and drink very bland beer.“

“Enjoyed the look of the place and the food has always been solid. Not a very good craft beer selection most are national brands with a few local options. Service usually subpar (I tend to get the same terrible server), but overall it’s not bad.“

“Came here with a giant group. If I come here again by myself or with a smaller group I will re-rate. My impression was that this is both one of the best restaurants in town and the only brewery. So it is very popular. The food was good and all the beers I had were good. Nothing mind-blowing, but better than chain-brewpub/brewsploitation quality. They did a hell of a job offering great service to my group of ~30 next year we will be reserving the party room.“

“Great restaurant/brewery on the southside of Kokomo. Nice selection of beers - nothing mind blowing but most are pleasant. Very good barbeque. Definitely a place to plan to have a full meal.“

“A nice BBQ joint. They brew their own beer.. Which I would describe as average..with a few good ones. Service is hit and miss. But the food and prices are very good. I got a lot of food and a beer for $17“

“Stopped here for lunch and some beer. Had the sampler which was 10 beers and most were good. A couple of misses. The lunch was good, had a hard time deciding which sauce I liked on the BBQ“

“This is the only brewpub in Kokomo. The atmosphere is nice with tvs everywhere and plenty of seating (although the bar fills up quickly). They have a solid selections of beers, and their food is good. The service varies wildly, especially behind the bar. There is one bartender who is consistently nice and attentive; the service falls off sharply without her there. With better service behind the bar, this place would get a much more favorable review from me.“

“Stopped by here around 9pm on a Monday with Callipalegic, met b3shine for dinner and beers. It’s a strip (but the building is free-standing). Easy parking. Inside, it’s got a pretty quaint rustic feel, spoiled only slightly by how it was busier than expected (I didn’t feel crowded by any means, though). This must be the hot spot for beer and good food, by the look of it. The beer itself was a little subpar across the board in my opinion. The hoppy things in particular lacked from what I remember, but there were a few good ones, and it was all certainly worth trying. They have a standard flight that includes all of their flagships, and the 3 seasonals and limiteds were available as tasters on the side. I was really happy with the food, especially for the price... It happens that on Monday their burgers are all just $6.99, which was a great value, and it was very satisfying. The waitress was the only staff member I interacted with and she was as helpful as could be expected. Overall, a pretty solid place that I’m sure Kokomo is very happy to have -- especially considering that it’s pretty much the only beer-centric place in Kokomo, as far as I’m aware.“

“Nice comfortable pub with a long bar. Service was attentive, but not beer focused. A few craft taps and some bottles with very reasonable prices. Nothing exciting, but a good local for a few pints.“

“A good Irish pub in downtown Kokomo. The atmosphere, food and service were all good, and the beer selection was solid. One of the only shows in town for anything remotely craft beer-ish besides Half Moon. Worth a stop - but not over Half Moon.“

“I am re-rating this place following the Goose Island Black Friday release to let people know about my experience. I called Wednesday morning and asked to speak with a manager. The woman who answered the phone stated that she was a manager, and I asked her about the release. She told me to be in line when the store opens, and that the release was first-come, first-serve. I did just that, as did others who were apparently given the same information. When it opened, the MOD told us that none was available, and when we told him what we were told, he laughed at us and told us "there was no way she would say that," essentially accusing us of lying. I told him that I wasn’t lying, nor was anyone else, and that I’d never shop here again. Accuse customers of lying and then laugh at them after they’ve waited in the rain for 30 minutes? Insult to injury, and classless. I’ve been a frequent customer of this place despite the fact that they overcharge, but I will never shop here again. Horrible organization, management, and customer service.“

“Driving north I stopped here for a lunch break. Located conveniently off of Route 31 in Kokomo this feels like a typical commercial brewpub. Clean with a number of televisions and "Midwestern kitsch" the place was quiet on a weekday afternoon.

Service was attentive without being annoying. The menu is typical - the BBQ sandwich was actually surprisingly good for Indiana. As far as the beers go they are solid and affordable. A sampler of nine or ten is under $10 with generous four ounce pours. I didn’t order any full pints but there were a few that were good enough to warrant a closer look.

I would not recommend going out of your way to visit but if you are in the area set aside an hour or so. You won’t be too disappointed with an out of the way brewpub.“

“Looks and feels like a corporate brewpub. As you would expect in the area prices are quite reasonable. Typical pub fare menu, average food. Friendly staff.“

“Conveniently located right off US 31. Walking into the restaurant you are greeted by delicious wood smoke aroma. Inside is comfortable and spacious. Brewing equipment was visible in a glassed area at the front of the restaurant. My server was great and offered the perfect amount of service, knowing when I wanted to be left to my beer. I was visiting for lunch and had an excellent Caeser Salad, but I’d like to visit again to try some of their smokehouse selections. I ordered a sampler and found the beer solid and enjoyable. The brewmaster seems to have a knack for wheat beers, and I especially enjoyed the Dastardly Dunkelwiezen and the Emerals Isle Stout. The place is also family friendly with a kids menu.“

“Easy to find location off US-31 with good parking lot in front and side. Clean corporate inside with wood bar and tables. Did not see brewing equipment. Freindly service from bartender and brewmaster with good knowledge of selection of 9 taps. All beers average to above drinkable with good selection of styles. Good food menu of starters and sandwiches. I enjoyed the visit.“

“Very nice, clean environment. Was there on a Saturday afternoon and was seated promptly, wait staff member was at our table promptly and explained the food menu and the day’s specials and ordered their beers for rating purposes. The food was much better than their beers IMO. Will probably make a return visit when the new brewpub opens up to see what, if any, new beers they have on their beer list to rate.“

“New brewpub with the expected issues of a staff that knows nothing about quality micros. The beer I found were very average at best but the food was pretty good however. Only need to stop by if heading through on US-31. (Good chance that beerme2008 is an employee or simply knows nothing about a good brewpub). That said I will stop by again this spring to see if it as improved and adjust my review accordingly.“
