“One of the better government monopoly stores, close to Microbar & Brews, but you'll need a car to get out here. It's not as good as the Skútuvogi location, but it's pretty good and is also open an hour earlier (10am) than most other locations in town. Might not be any reason to come here in particular, but if you're nearby, it's worth a stop.“

“A little bit outside of the centre, this is a pretty small place with 8 taps. 6 from Gæðingur, with a couple guests. 0.4 and 0.2L pours available, similarly priced to other Icelandic establishments. Happy hour from 5-8pm gets you a large size for the price of a small—not really a perk for tickers. It was totally dead when I went - 5:30pm on a Saturday. Friendly, gentle service. Not worth a special trip with the regular Micro Bar in the centre, but if you’re nearby, this is a chill place to try some Gæðingur.“
