72 /100 The Nitrox Pub & Eatery (Bar) 263, STARI GRAD KOTOR, KOTOR 85330 Fue una parada rápida en medio de una excursión, pero merece la pena para tomar algo de cerveza local. |
74 /100 The Nitrox Pub & Eatery (Bar) 263, STARI GRAD KOTOR, KOTOR 85330 The only true craft beer pub in Montenegro.
It seems that they are closed out of season.
4 rotating taps and 30 cans/bottles from Croatia, Serbia and local Fabrika brewery from Risan.
They have nice snacks and pub food also.
Like them.
May be a little bit too expensive.
But there are no more options in Montenegro actually. |
58 /100 Maxi Exclusive (Kamelija Shopping Centre) (Grocery Store) PUT I BOKELJSKE BRIGADE As recommended by Grumbo, stopped here during my cruise. Like others said it has the normal macro lines from Montenegro and a few Serbian, but also found 5 bottles from a craft brewer PG Akademija Piva. Well worth the stop if only a grocery store. |
72 /100 Hoste (Bar) 263 STARI GRAD Nice cute little bar with a few tables spilling outside. Friendly place, some simple but tasty bar food (bruschetta and piadina type items) and a range of Fabrika beers amongst other beverages. |
54 /100 Old Town Pub (Bar) SJEVERNA VRATA, STARI GRAD Stopped in yesterday right after grabbing lunch nearby in the Town square. Wasn't expecting a massive selection by any means, so I sat in and grabbed a mug of Nikšicko for the second time in as many stops. Place is very small, though I didn't go upstairs. Waiter came by and brought us our beer and wine, and was very welcoming and polite. Prices seemed fair for a tourist stop. Not exactly a place to grab a flight of craft, but a great place to sit down, enjoy a Montenegro brew, and blend in with an array of people who are seemingly loving what the beautiful town of Kotor has to offer. |
46 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB Serviceable supermarket near the old town. Stocks many macros from Montenegro and Serbia. Not much else to say, I got beers here and they seemed reasonably priced. |
74 /100 Hoste (Bar) 263 STARI GRAD Nice little place with 4 bottle craft beers from Serbian 'Kabinet' brewery. 4 tables outside and 2 inside. Great food, mostly aimed at lunch. |
36 /100 Maxi Exclusive (Kamelija Shopping Centre) (Grocery Store) PUT I BOKELJSKE BRIGADE Basically a grocery shop with some macro beer including most of the Nikšićko range, some Serbian and some czech beers. Nothing special, but here is not many other options in town anyway. Best selection close to the old town if you don’t want to visit the Idea marked a bit south of town. |
42 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB Not a beer place by regular standard, but mentionable as it actually has the best selection in Kotor by summer 2017. Pretty similar to the Maxi shop inside Kamelija Shopping Centre, but slightly better. You could find the complete selection from Nikšićko, some makro beers from Serbia, Erdinger and a few other more common brands. Nothing special really, but you would hardy find anything else elsewhere, so this might be your single stop shop for Kotor. |
42 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB Small selection of beers, some Nikšićko and macro lagers. Cheap. |
46 /100 Maxi Exclusive (Kamelija Shopping Centre) (Grocery Store) PUT I BOKELJSKE BRIGADE Not a huge selection of beers, some of the Nikšićko range and other macro lagers. Pretty cheap though. |
20 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB No interest for the beer fan. Local Niksicko which is not good at all and major brand lagers (ok, few Serbian lagers). This place is on beer map by a mistake. |
48 /100 Old Town Pub (Bar) SJEVERNA VRATA, STARI GRAD OK little two-story pub in central Kotor, eclectic mix of music playing, Chemical Brothers for example, a betting machine in the corner, footie on TV, tiny "patio" outside. The bar is actually upstairs and the waiter didn’t appear for quite a while until I went up to get him, but that might’ve been a fluke. Anyway, ended up getting coffee as the beer selection is disappointing (only the Nikšićko lineup I guess, maybe one or two completely basic foreign macros, if) and overpriced. In general, this is not a cheap place for the town. Maybe not the most expensive either, but still. No beers from Czech Republic on the menu. It’s not a bad pub, but no real reason for beer geeks to go here - you can get everything they have far cheaper at any random supermarket. |
54 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB As Konzum took over Mercator, which ran the Roda stores in Montenegro, they were renamed/rebranded in March 2016 to Idea, which is the name they use both in Montenegro and Serbia. It still carries a solid selection of beer - macros of course, but nearly everything that’s available - Trebjesa and Apatinska Pivara lineups + others (San Miguel Fresca... WHY?!?!). The random & surprising presence of Bath Golden Hare was refreshing as, while not great, is a refreshing change of pace for Montenegro. Other than that - it’s a grocery store, nothing to add. |
52 /100 Maxi Exclusive (Kamelija Shopping Centre) (Grocery Store) PUT I BOKELJSKE BRIGADE The place I found in Kotor to buy the whole range of Nikšićko beers. The various restaurants I went to whilst there only served Nikšićko Pivo so not really worth entering on RB but this chain should be sought out for by those wanting to tick off the Nikšićko range. They also have some other mainly Eastern European beers including a couple of Serbian beers, which is where this chain originates. |
42 /100 Old Town Pub (Bar) SJEVERNA VRATA, STARI GRAD Like most of the bars and pubs in Kotor this was mostly made for tourists. Okay selection of local beers. |
60 /100 Old Town Pub (Bar) SJEVERNA VRATA, STARI GRAD Nice small and cozy bar in old town in Kotor. Niksicko beers on tap and some bottles a.o. from Tsjech Republic. |
48 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB Grocery store in Kotor near the old town. I went here because I was having trouble finding Niksicko Tamno at a place in town. The selection is okay, mostly Balkan beers. |
50 /100 Idea Market Kotor (Grocery Store) SURANJ BB Roda is a small grocery store located a few minutes walk south of the Old Town on the main road to Tivat. It has a decent enough selection of bottles and cans from Montenegro, Slovenia & Serbia. Selection must be the best in town. Very cheap indeed! If canned pale lagers & radlers are your thing, this is a must visit! |
