“I visited at night and in the rain, maybe not ideal terrace weather. Inside is cozy and welcoming with a friendly barmaid playing Monopoly with a friendly British ex-pat. The only Slovenian beers were the very local Kranjska, other than that it's Mali Grad or macro. No food. Visit for the conversation rather than the beer.“

“Any place that serves Orval and Rochefort is OK in my book. Especially when they're around 5 Euro. They have 11 taps as well, though only seven beers on when I visited. The house beer is brewed by Mali Grad, but you have to ask; and that's their only local draft beer. Nice list of Belgian bottles, some interesting German stuff. Food is filling pub food, but certain things are only available on certain nights - pizza on Tuesday, burgers on Thursday, etc. Friendly helpful service. Loud clientele are not really about to launch into a bar fight, though it's hard to tell sometimes. Solid place.“

“A large club/pub in teh centre of town, more of a student looking thing. Beer choice is not to die for, but they do have a few domestic craft breweries available in bottles. A few taps, one reserved for Guinness and one for their house brew (made by Mali Grad). Others taken by some craft and some macros. Often interesting concerts played here. Also, very nice prices for food that looked great. A place to stop by when in the centre of the town. And to tick their house beer.“

“Heh, actually visited Tankr when it was in Medulin Croatia at the festival (early September 2016). Had no idea it was rateable. All in all, yeah, the others said everything, Cute van with 6 taps, rotating, goes from event to event. The selection was Human Fish (Stout and Combat Wombat), both of which aren't rare but are nice, Hopsbrew Tropical Wheat and Kri Pomarance - both quite nice, and in the end Carniola ESB and Red District. Got me 2 new ticks, which is cool. Good service in that case, represented their scene well.“

“A brewpub close to the centre but tucked away within the industrial zone. Nice outside terrace, empty at the time of visit. Big place with their own beers on tap. Fine prices. Didn't have that real brewpub vibe.“

“Beervan with rotating taps cruising around the country. Good idea, selection is average, but at least they are mainly promoting local breweries. Staff is friendly, but could know more about beer they sell. Thumbs up...“

“This one is actually Tankr Craftmobil - a beer truck. Old van turned into a bar with 6 taps and some bottled goodies possible as well. The people behind it seem to know a lot about what they’re doing. Mostly some local taps, also some not so widely spread, so all in all a nice addition.“

“Small terrace bar in the slopes of old town Kranj. Offering the local Kranjsko pivo on tap, and a small selection of other micros. Friendly service. A genuinely likable litte place,“

“A very nice cafe place just outside the citry centre, on the river island within a peaceful surrounding. Some nice beers available there, local and foreign. The biggest plus is the burger stand just outside the cafe (Projekt Burger) which serves amazing burgers and they go with the local beer mighty fine.“

“Quite a big pub just outside the centre of Kranj, next to the train station. There’s a bottle shop withing the pub. Lot’s of various bottled beers, just a couple draft ones (though quite pricy) - including their brand new pub pale ale. Staff seems nice and fairly knowledgeable. Nice atmosphere. A decent place to down a few.“

“A small bar with a decently sized terrace in the old part of Kranj. This plce is unique in the fact that everything they serve is a Slovenian product, meaning you can find a nice collection of Slovenian beers here. From macro to micro breweries, and also a local Kranjsko pivo. Atmosphere is nice and relaxed, and staff seems very knowledgeable abut their offer. Nice.“
