“Close to Freeport, outlet shops... Locals avilable: Gathenheims, Bygårdens and Tyska Eken. Easy to park and free from fee. Bad selection for this size of shop mostly alco pops and micro lagers.“

“Drove here to get some bottles from Gathenhielm. Damn it was chatotic to get there with narrow streets and loads of traffic. Standard selection apart from those local beers.“

“Visited May 2014.
Might get slightly higher numbers than it would in a bigger city, but for where it is located it certainly is well worth going there!
OK, you might not travel to Kungsbacka to go and drink beer, but if you find yourself in Kungsbacka, and you want some craft beer, this sure is the place to go.
Serve draught beer from 10 taps. This evening two taps had the same standard macro lager, one had Guinness, 1 Pilsner Urquell, 1 Berliner Kindl, 1 BrewDog och 4 local (Gothenburg) craft beers. I counted 45 bottled beers and a few ciders downstairs, there were a few different bottles upstairs as well. Most of the bottles are craft and high quality at that. They get a lot of Swedish micro/craft beer on bottles, some imported as well. Saw quite a few I hadn’t had before.
Ate a pulled pork, was very nice.
Downstairs area is mainly a bar and a few seats, upstairs is a low ceiling more restaurant sit down kind of area. Also a small bar with the same taps as downstairs, but some of the bottles was different this day. A small outdoors balcony provides the smokers retreat. Also there is a kind of cargo elevator to the balcony, so possible for someone not capable of stairs to get up there, though not in a grand way perhaps.
At least two toilets plus a "mens room" avaiable downstairs.
Located centrally on a side street to the town square, perhaps a 5 minute slow walk from the central station in Kungsbacka.
Nice enough place for sure, fast and friendly service. Had it been located in Gothenburg or Stockholm it might "just" have been one of the nice craft beer pubs, but for Kungsbacka the selection is outstanding I’d say!“
