88 /100 1 MIDDLE STREET This is everything you want in a microbrewery. A good variety of beer styles. A decent menu with some fine sandwiches. A rustic atmosphere in the cellar of an old bank. Off-street parking. Friendly service. A view of the beer tanks. Detailed descriptions about the beer you're about to enjoy. Not too pricey. It's what I might call a destination brewery. Lancaster is in the northwestern part of the state and it's a bit of hike to get get there but so worth it. |
80 /100 1 MIDDLE STREET The place to go in Lancaster. Nice cozy indoor space, coupled with a great outdoor patio, right on the river. Solid selection and good food. 100% must stop in the area. |
82 /100 1 MIDDLE STREET Stopped in here last weekend had some lunch and a flight. Basement brick and stone cavernous feel. Two big rooms, a couch area in one and 4 long tables a small bar and a couple of small tables. They had 7 on tap when I was there, I had four while there 3 were impressive one was decent. I had a panini special with pork on pork and pork that was quite tasty and came with chips. Decent value right off the main drag in Lancaster, I was impressed. |
