“On the northern side of Catoosa Wildlife mgmt area in the sticks. A beautiful drive and a great find. Brewer was there when we arrived and greeted us. 7 of their beers on tap and 1 guest beer. Parking was no problem today (Wednesday). Not sure about wifi. Pet friendly. Kid friendly. Inside seating for about 20. Plenty of room outside. Hop field across the drive. Beers were all solid. Wide variety to choose from. Get your directions down pat because it is easy to miss the drive. Solid place if you want to take the wife. No flights at this time. Pack a lunch and take the wife and kids out for a day in the mountains. Fishing, hiking, and canoeing all available near by. . If they had a dress code it would be casual (not business casual just casual). It’s a 1.5 hr drive from my house and I will go back You should stop in and see them as well.“

“First, Lilly Pad is a truly unique brewery. I went on a Wed afternoon on a very cold day in late winter and there was no one there except the owner/brewer., whose name is Del. Del was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about his brewery and good craft beer. The brewery grew out of a campground located near some of Tennessee’s very scenic and lesser-used wild areas. The owner’s hobby was brewing beer and what evolved was a small 3 barrel brewery out in the middle of nowhere that serves a large clientele of hikers and campers. Del had on a Blonde, 2 APAs, an IPA, a Gose, a Vienna Lager and a Fruit beer. The Stout was out when I visited. In addition there was one Calfkiller guest tap.All the beers were fresh and solid brews. They didn’t have taster but they had sample glasses and Del kindly worked out tasters for us.Overall, Lilly Pad is not the easiest place to find or get to, but it’s worth seeking out if you’re in the area.“
