| 78 /100 Lansing Liquor and Wine (Beer Store) 828 N. MAIN ST. “This is a great local business in the Lansing Leavenworth area. The floorplan is about 70% wine and spirits with about 30% left for beers. They have a great selection of beers. From the 32oz brown bag specials to some really difficult to find imports, they have them all. I am a fan of local beers (Boulevard!!) as well as micro brews from across the country and Mike and his staff never let me down. Not all the employees are real knowledgeable about all the beers, but Mike, the manager, knows his stuff and he is usually around to guide you to what you are looking for.
In addition to all the great beers, they have daily specials that you can usually get 10% off of your purchases!
This is my go to place and I’ve never left disappointed.

Not an amazing store compared to what you can find in major metro area, but, they are a DIAMOND in the VERY, VERY ROUGH. This store has an amazing selection of beer and spirits for their area. I go to Leavenworth a few times a month to visit my mom, and this store is my oasis to find great beers that my local store has long ago sold out of. The rest of this town’s stores "craft beer" section concludes with Guinness and Corona. I love Guinness, but, come on. I love their use of space and the initiative to engage in having ANY craft beer, let alone GREAT craft beers and a wonderful scotch selection. I mean, come on, finding a Mikkeller beer in the Leavenworth area is amazing. I cannot praise this store enough for their selection versus anything with in the confines of LV or Lansing and if you are in the area, you have to stop in and check out their stuff.“ |

The beer selection is better than the wine selection. But otherwise it isn’t too special. I went there cause they had La Folie longer than anyone else in town. Otherwise prices are average and I see no reason to go there compared to the better stores in KC.“ |
