“Nice location inside the museum yard. Beautiful yard, inside is dark and not very inviting. It took a while to find the bartender whi was chilling at the corner of the bar. As she was not speaking norwegian, it took a while to place the order. Second order had a horrible butter aroma, suspects it has been sitting in the pipes for a while. Horrible music as from som gym topped the experience“

“Close to the railway station and not far from the city center. A rather large terrace is maybe the biggest draw in the summer, beer selection not so much. When they first opened they had at least a couple of craft in bottles, now it's basically just Aass on tap and not much of a bottle selection at all. The house beer Bedehuset IPA is quite okay. Food and service is okay too. Fair enough place for a meal and a beer, usually not worth listing here, but since it's Larvik, it's actually one of the few places worth mentioning....“

“Old small church reused as a pub / restaurant. Old building in downtown Larvik. Not far from the railway station. Modern interior. 5 from Aas on tap including Bedehuset IPA. Some unexciting bottles.“

“Seven of their own beers on the taps joined by a few more on bottles, and some from other Norwegian breweries. The main, medium-sized, bar room is in black paint and quite cozy, partly decorated with rock posters. Adjoining room used as a live venue. The brewpub is located in a brick building a few minutes from the harbour side, and as a part of the museum area. Burger and pizza options. Friendly service. On my visit in early December the yard outside promoted a nice Yuletide feel with a Christmas tree. (Visited with Finn and Håvard, 01.12.2018).“

“Still not a good Meny grocery store. But they did at least have some bottles from the local micro. Easy to find in the city centre. Not far away from Vinmonopolet in Amfi shopping mall“

“Probably the worst Meny grocery store I have ever been to.

“An ordinary Vinmonopolet bottle shop. Decent selection from the July release. A big plus that all beers are in a separate cool room. Nice, all beers are chilled! Didn't see any special beers from Larvik. (Visited July 31st 2017)“

“Fairly decent selection of beer. Not the most exiting selection, but certainly nice that they have them in the cooling room. The local breweries Holtens and Larvik Mikrobryggeri is usually fairly well represented.“

“A brewpub situated inside some old industrial buildings, almost seems it’s part of Larvik Museum. Quite cozy place, modern industrial redbrick mix, with a good selection of bottled beers and six or seven of their own on tap. Unfortunately their own beers have mostly been ranging from close to bad to crap, so I wasn’t really looking forward to sampling a couple of them. Seems they have improved slightly though, as none of them were bad, infected or off. Please be warned that my rating would’ve dropped quite a bit if it weren’t for the bottle selection. Been there done that, no real need to go back.“

“The only reasonable reason for stopping by is that they are situated next door to the Gulating store. The selection is far from impressive, even by Norwegian standards. Have been here twice and found a new Larvik Mikrobryggeri beer here each time. Still, that shouldn’t be enough to lure you into a detour.“

“Fairly standard Meny supermarket in the city center. Not the most exiting selection, bur fair enough. As with the Meny store at Fritzøe brygge this one too has beers from Larvik Mikrobryggeri. Hardly worth a detour, but one of the best places to get shop strength beer in Larvik (don’t think there was much difference in selection to the one at Fritzøe brygge, but that one is very close to Larvik Mikrobryggeri so no need to go to the center to buy bottles if one visits the brewery)“

“Pretty standard Vinmonopolet store, only thing that differs beer wise is that they carry Larvik and Holtens beer. Pity none of them are worth the money. Friendly staff, but as in most Vinmonopolet stores I guess the average RB user is more familiar with beers than the staff is.“

“A pretty standard Meny grocery store. The usual suspects from Norway and abroad are available, but the interesting part here is that they have Larvik beers as well. BTW, that’s only interesting if you need to try every beer you see, because the Larvik beers are pretty close to crap. But I won’t hold that against this store of course.“

“Visit 20 nov 2013 Increased selection, 3 taps and 4 bottles of their own brews. Vast improvement on beer quality. Still low quality on staff & beer knowledge Visited 20th May 2012 Late afternoon so not many guests. 2 house taps made by Lillehammer Mikrobryggeri. Nothing of their own yet. Some other standards on tap (Union) and a decent bottle selection. The best place for beer in Larvik, although it does not mean much. Nice bar“

“Last visit now in 2018 most of the craft beer was gone - they have their on brew on tap and some bottles, but besides that just a very basic selection of beer. Update: On my last visit in July 2013 five of their own beer were available (2 on tap and 3 on bottles). Nice patio in front of the place.
Nice location and interior. Three of their own beers was available at the time of my visit. Tried two of them and they were okay. Bottle selection was fairly decent, but not exciting. Located within walking distance of the city center and the train station. Worth a visit if you’re in the neighbourhood.
(First visit December 2011 before the brewery was up and running, and then again in December 2012)“

“Ligger utrolig fint til. Har ett helt anstendig flaske utvalg. Ølet de hadde på fat var ikke akkurat skapt for andre enn de som ikke liker for mye smak i ølet. Noe skuffende. Men bedre enn ved første beøk. Kommer seg stadig :-)“
