68 /100 L’ImBeertinence (Grocery Store) 20 RUE DE PARIS Visited the 14th May 2021 - small place in a pedestrian street of Lens. Clean and modern architecture. Staff is friendly and easy to talk. They can provide you good advices. Currently the place is a beer shop but it will be a bar with a terrace on the back side.
Selection is interesting, split it 2 side with classical belgian beers and craft IPAish beer. Good reference from Belgium and France. Well organised. This shop has not so much reference and they are focus on a quick turn on selection than on wide range of beer. Staff is friendly and helpfull. Price is ok. Good place to visit. I may advice owner to add fridge for the IPA to don't let them fade quickly. |
68 /100 Pub Mac Ewan’s (Bar) 10, AVENUE RAOUL-BRIQUET This is the only place in Lens where you can have a decent beer. With 15 beers on taps, nice choice of bottles and very good price The Mac Ewan’s is the good place in Lens. The selection is made with beer from north of France and belgium selection. Bar keepers are nice excepted the older who can be very rude and unpolished sometimes. The ambiance is really friendly. About the place, the organisation is good and nice. Some collectors things about beer are on the wall... nice. I recommend this place if you are in Lens, but Lille is not far and you will find better place there. |
