“Probably the most fun session I've had since the Before Times. Brewery itself is in an old car dealership on the Old Route 16 from Detroit to Yellowstone. Taproom is up front with a serving bar, a bunch of restaurant tables, a couch area and a patio with picnic tables. Larger outdoor space on the side plus a nice event space in the former display area of the old car dealership. Barkeep Branda was by herself at opening time on a Sunday, so she poured me a flight of five and then sat with me in the couch area. Before too long a steady stream of locals came in, got beer, and sat and chatted with us as well. Decent variety of styles included three different types of lagers and a handful of barrel aged sours, plus a spontaneously fermented collab with A Homestead. They offer frozen pizzas which were very tasty. Brenda knew everyone's name, and it wasn't long before I was accepted as part of the crowd. I could easily call this place my local if I lived in the area. Worth going out of your away to experience.“

“We stopped here on a cross country trip. On a whim we called and asked if they had Surley Darkness, and they did! It is a bright, clean and attractive liquor store. They have an impressive selection of local beers, all available for purchase in single bottles, which differentiates this store from many liquor stores. The selection of Belgian beers was pretty meager, but that wasn’t the point in stopping. The manager of the store was very friendly and made the whole shopping experience a delight. Definitely worth stopping if you happen to be traveling I 90 or live in the area.“

“Small town liquor store off I-90 that has some items you won’t be able to find elsewhere. Mainly things that sell out right away in a bigger city. Got Surly now. Only liquor store in town. A good border jumper store for Sioux Falls folks. Brau Brothers selections abound. Craft brew prices are good, but the macro brews are a little on the higher side - but why would you be buying those anyways?“
