Modern interior with a really nice feel to the place. 6 beers on. 2 Lymm and 4 Dunham Massey. Well kept. Service good. Prices were decent. Tasting paddle of 3 thirds available too. Worth a visit as the venue itself is really nice“ |

| 70 /100 18 BRIDGEWATER STREET “One of the last buildings before the small commercialised road (just off the main road) in the village centre of Lymm dips down underneath the canal, the Brewery and its Tap are housed in an unassuming brick building that looks more like a station house from the outside than a public house. Inside it’s a fairly modern two room affair that’s been made open plan with a small service area opposite you as you walk in and a larger area behind the centre wall. There’s only two pumps on this first bar with the other five around the corner. All will be different though and include a mi of their own Lymm ales and from other local brewers, most notably Dunham Massey not too far away from here.“ |
| 66 /100 Nancy’s Deli (Beer Store) 10 BRIDGEWATER STREET “Just a few doors along from the Lymm Brewery Tap, this Deli provides fine food and drink in the daytime for the locals and visitors alike and includes some bottle crafted ales too, all from local brewers. The local Tatton and Dunham Massey breweries supply here as well as Macclesfield’s Wincle. A couple of other breweries have a smaller selection represented here and if you’re buying several they are sold in special bottle boxes that are suitable as gift boxes if you require them to be.“ |
| 68 /100 47 EAGLE BROW “Close to the river in the small gorge that the pretty village centre exists in, this coaching house inn remains a hotel as the name suggests. It has a beautiful traditional pub interior with lots of leather backed seats, fireplaces and soft furnishings that create a fine ambiance for drinking or dining. There’s a lovely rear garden area with a natural sandstone wall behind it giving it a fine backing and an enclosed intimate feel. As it’s a hotel the service is excellent and the ale selection is mainly from JW Lees and includes the current special ale whatever it is throughout the year. Their own produced lager sits beside some national ones too.“ |
