44 /100 Spirits Xpress (Beer Store) 2111 ROUTE 37 WEST Small warehouse style. Store new in Aug 2014 but much smaller than a typical local store hence I’m assuming the Xpress part of its name. Does have a okay selection of craft bottles in the mix a six section and some sixers of craft but with Spirits Crossroads right down the street this will be a quick stop store for me. Price points seem good. Have only been to store once as of yet so I don’t know if they have a beer guy there yet but staff is friendly and I was asked if I wanted help. |
38 /100 Ridgeway Plaza Liquors and Wine (Beer Store) 3875 RIDGEWAY RD Not bad when I am going past but i would not go here normally. Many normal beers but craft section is growing. Quite a few locals. No trappist, one lambic.I never have been asked for help in the store but they if you need a box to help carry they always are on top of that. Nice end cap of craft whiskey and the normal store behind it. |
46 /100 Applebee’s - Manchester (Restaurant) 1001 ROUTE 70 Normal Applebee’s. Recently redone. Normal selections of national brew. No real craft brews but some of the better big brands. Can be many HS aged kids after nearby Manchester HS has an event. Seating in this one is almost always right away or just a few mins. UPDATE: the service has gotten better, but getting the right order has gotten harder. You may have said backed potato but there’s a bunch of broccoli on your plate. One tap is a local craft brew. |
