“Old school beach town brew pub vibe, single story with seating inside and a few out front (but maybe only due to Covid). The view was OK, not the best ocean as its a bit removed, but nice on a clear day. Service was decent, a little curt, but helpful enough, didn't really seem to care what you drank though, liquor, beer, soda, who cares. The plastic pint glasses was also weird, and even weirder that it was only sometimes. Selection was decent, trending towards old school styles to cater the tourist and local biker crowd, but all were decent. Food was a little pricey, but also makes sense for tourist crowd. Another place to grab some ticks, and owned by women, which is cool.“

“Visited here in early August ’17 while on vacation for dinner. Late at night, so could not partake of the view everyone is mentioning, but can imagine it is great based on the area. Nice wide open space, plenty of seating in tables and at the bar, Have about a dozen of their own on tap, the two we had were solid. Varied menu, seafood, wings, sandwiches etc, I had the Rubenesque bratwurst and it was pretty tasty. Friendly, attentive service, Worth a stop if in town.“

“Spacious hilltop location with good views thru plenty of large glass windows. Brewery operations also visible thru glass. Free WiFi. Friendly, knowledgable service. Excellent Wahoo tacos. Well worth the short trip off Hwy 101“

“A large brewpub/brewery overlooking (or so I’m told – it was as foggy as can be the day we were in) the ocean. Bright airy dining room and pub with friendly servers slinging their products. Beers were serviceable although not terribly distinctive. Nice enough spot for a sampler, but I don’t think it’s a must stop on the drive through the area.“

“Stopped in on 8/5/10. Average looking place, with a crowd of what seemed to be mostly regulars. Service was mostly friendly and attentive. Beers weren’t all that great, although the Moonstone Porter and to a greater degree the Kona Moon Porter were worth the stop.“

“This brewpub/restaurant boasts a great view, but of course they don’t say you have to look over their parking lot and over the road to get that view... Otherwise, I found the place to be rather generic. Nothing bad, nothing great. The house blond is a nice Pilsener, which I appreciated, but the Belgian attempts weren’t nearly as authentic. There aren’t too many options near Redwood National Park, so you’ll probably drop by anyway, but I don’t think I would make a detour if I were to come back soon.“

“I’ve had Six Rivers brews up in Portland before. I thought i’d stop by on drive through the Redwood forest since it was right off of highway 101. The establishment is nice, clean, lots of great beer memorabilia around. Super crowded with locals. It was definitely a big local happening place. Lots of townies for sure. Despite being so busy, the barkeep was definitely on top of it. Beer selection was probably about six or seven mainstays, and about another five seasonal/specials. I had a dubbel, which was good but maybe a little infected. My girlfriend had the Raspberry lambic, which is a great beer and it’s great to see a brewery like this venture into lambics.“

“Good views and pretty good beers. The place has a lot of hard surfaces that make it echo quite a bit. They have live music every day and a good open feel in general. Nice collection of old California beer bottles from some very old original California breweries covers one wall. Men’s restrooms have a comment chalkboard where many interesting messages are sure to entertain you.“

“Nice small selection of beers that change from time to time. Fantastic view of the coast, this is definitely a place to stop off for a brewski when you’re on the 101. Pretty good food, but not extensive.“
