“9 June 2017. cool place. Meadville is a kind of crappy town and from the outside, the brewery looks like a rundown old building. Inside is pretty neat. Lots of old hardwood. huge bar and huge communal table. Lots of seating upstairs. about 15 taps. decent prices. friendly servers.“

“One of my favorite places to frequent in the NW PA region. In my opinion, all of their beers are excellent. The selection available changes regularly and there is a firkin every Friday at 5 pm. The menu is small but typically delicious. Occasional live music upstairs in the Voodoo Lounge. Great place overall!“

“I visited the restaurant side in July 2015. A large building, plenty of seats. The beer selection is somewhat limited - 4 regulars (IPA, porter, blonde, dortmunder), a rotating Belgian, and 1 or 2 seasonals. The beer quality was average or slightly below. The food menu was standard pub fare. The lobster nachos were quite good. I don’t remember what entree I got, perhaps a sandwich...obviously not very memorable...Overall, if you’re in the area it’s not a bad stop, ok beer, ok food. I wouldn’t seek it out or expect too much beyond that.“

“Had a nightcap here and unfortunately kitchen closes at 10 .... ambiance reminds me of a downtown philly bar with a rundown rowhome artsy look .... re-purposed furniture, old fridges converted to taps, old doors hanging overhead .... service was prompt ... selection was lacking variety and was more of a seasonal and one off life with some staple brews ... no stouts .... cheap prices ... i’d love to check out the grub they definitely had a nice hipster menu“

“This is actually a separate bar and restaurant in one place. To the left is the bar, with its Plexiglas floor where you can see the actual brewtanks below and the restaurant is on the right, all wood inside with a country feel. Friendly service tho a little slow at times. Had a flight of 5 beers for $8. Dining experience was not bad overall and my wife and I had salads that were pretty good but a little expensive. Lots of parking and easy access off 19 or 79. Beers were decent. Will return when in the area again.“

“Didn’t try the food but the beer was great. The cowbell on nitro took a while to pour which backed up the service. Liked the different styles they had on tap, made it hard to decide what to pick. Great place to visit when passing through the Erie/Great Lakes region.“

“Ambiance inside the bar is just awesome, just like a ski lodge with a false bottom glass floor showing the brewing setup. Bartender was incredibly friendly, and hooke dus up as well. Selection was average, about 8 beers on tap, most standard, a few prettty good ones. Beers were on par with other places of the sort, $5 for a pint.“

“Try to stop by whenever I go to Voodoo. I love the ambiance of this place, it’s just like a ski lodge. I could hang out here all day. Their everyday selections are all average but some of the seasonals are out of the park, especially the North Pole Stout. Super friendly staff and they are always willing to help. The food is pretty good too on the restaurant side.“

“Visited on 11/10/12. A: The place has a really cool vibe to it, brick on the exterior walls, random doors hanging from the ceiling, nice long bar, couches, and high tables. Q: The beers are all decent to really good, especially their 4 Seasons IPA and More Cowbell. S: Bartenders were attentive and friendly even when busy. S: 10 different beers on tap, 9 different styles that cover a nice array. V: Beers were all resonably priced, bombers even more reasonably priced, borderline cheap. Overall, solid beer, solid bar, solid brewery.“

“Visited: 6-5-12 A: Semi Upscale, Very Clean, Nice Wood all around, not a beer nerd heaven but a slightly more upscale feel to it. Q: Decent Beers, had several samples that were true to style and several pints that were of quality S: Service was a little slow but they had only been open for 13 days thus far and my bartender seemed a little non responsive but gave them a pass for the newness of the place. S: Selection was 6 in house beers and an in house root beer. They had 5 commons and a rotating belgian tap to choose from. 8 taps available. F: Seemed decent enough, had their Chicekn Fingers which were beer battered and nicely cooked, no side. V: $4 beers, which were decent quality and could be charged a little more...$8 fingers which were quality but a little too heavy on price for no side. The menu seemed to be a little high across the board for burgers, salad and dinners but beer was well priced. Overall, if I can get down here again for work or VooDoo release, would like to bring the guys to try it out, Recommended.“

“The looks of the place aren’t wonderful but inside I liked it. There is a spacious downstairs and upstairs. The lower being the main room had a huge bar, tables, and sofas. The men’s restroom was interesting. I had to joke with some folks while in there that a guy couldn’t do everything he needed in there. The service was okay. Everyone seemed friendly and did their jobs at a good pace. The tap list was descent with house brews. I would of liked to have seen non house brews. The foods smelled great but I was not hungry. Overall it is a nice place and worth checking out.“

“My first trip here was for the Voodoo Barrel Room Release. By the time I made it into the brew pub I had a few drinks sharing bottles outside with a bunch of others waiting for the release. I cant say enough about how well everything was handled there. I wish the service would have been a bit faster but I cant wait to make it back here.“

“Ambiance is cool, good vibe from the music and nice wooden interior. Service was a bit slow, but it was mainly due to it being packed from the release. Selection, specifically for this day was nice with some one offs, but not a gigantic selection. Beers were very cheap for the quality. Overall worth stopping if your driving up or down 79.“

“My first trip to Voodoo for the bottle release, luckily we got up there early enough to have some dinner and a few beers before it got too crazy. An interesting little pub in an old building. Lots of wood everywhere, from the tables to the 10 or so old doors hanging from the ceiling. Draft list, as well as the food menu, are written on the wall in chalk. Service was decent once I figured it all out. I didn’t have to wait very long for my beers so all in all it was fine with me. Quality seemed to be high. All the beers in the correct glasses and all of the food was made from scratch, including the spent grain pizza crust. I wasn’t too hungry but I was able to try a few things our party ordered, my favorite being the sausage gravy breakfast pizza, it was quite good. I also noticed the pita’s looked especially tasty, I may get one of those next time I am in town. Since the release was the next day I was expecting the selection to be solid and it was, to a point. I liked the variety they offered but I wasn’t really trying to drink a bunch of higher ABV beers with the looming all night bottle share fast approaching and they only had one beer on that was under 8%, and it was a stout, even the pils was 8+%. I enjoyed the beers I had but 1-2 more lower ABV beers would have been nice. Overall a really nice brewpub. I look forward to stopping here again when I am in the area.“

“Nice place, in a small quiet town, a big long bar, nice feel to the pub. Lots of locals in when I was there, Was served quickly and the bartender was friendly. Had a small menu of food, appear to be all specials. Decent selection of tap beer and a good amount of bottles. Worth stopping in if driving by, only about 2 mins from the hwy.“

“Out in this part of PA there are few places to buy decent micro or import beer at a friendly price. Unless of course you hit Sprague Brewery about 20 miles north. This place did not seem to have separate bottles for a build your own six pack but the prices on the micro and import six packs are great. Good selection of popular desirable brews.“

“It is an Italian Restaurant so beer isn’t their goal, though they had a couple Yuengling beers in bottles and one on tap, as well as some sam adams.“

“8 taps and at least 50 bottles of great craft beer (i think all of it is american). it is definitely a tavern. wooden benches and tables and apparently PA still allows smoking indoors. plus, you can smell the toilet cleaner as you pass the restroom doors. however, they have amazing beer on tap and in bottles. they also have a really nice beer garden with tables, awnings, horseshoe courts and other yard games.“
