66 /100 Zoiglstube Lugert (Bar) BACHSTRASSE 12 Quick visit on a friday morning. Adequate and friendly service. Dead cheap, considering the quality of the beer and food. |
64 /100 Zoiglstube Lugert (Bar) BACHSTRASSE 12 Very nice, rustic place. White plastered walls, wooden beams. Good food! |
72 /100 BAHNHOFSTRASSE 1 4 excellent brews. Didn't try food, but considering the place was all packed it should be good. |
60 /100 Zoiglstube Lugert (Bar) BACHSTRASSE 12 Just down from the main square in Mitterteich, Lugert offers an interior terrace and a couple of small inside rooms. While the setting was fun and the patrons friendly, I found the Lugert Zoiglbier almost unpalatable, with a strong butter note and a difficult game-y character. YMMV, of course. |
74 /100 Zoiglstube Oppl (Bar) OBERER MARKTPLATZ 11 Visited during easter 2012 with my parent. As most times with the zoigl places, this place as well was very local. Great atmosphere, and so friendly staff serving the zoigl in great condition. Parking is possible close by. As most zoigl stube, they only had this one beer, and we had sausages and sauerkraut to go with it... Great place :-) |
70 /100 Zoiglstube Hartwich (Bar) ANGERGASSE Arriving at lunch time on a Saturday, the place was packed. Always a good sign, although it meant that we found some of the less attractive seating in the garage. Good bratwurst and a clean, above-average beer |
80 /100 Zoiglstube Hartwich (Bar) ANGERGASSE Very friendly people as it is the case with all the Zoigl-Stuben. Backyard feel. Sat close to the butcher in the garage actually accompanied by a lot of flies. Kraut and wursten - the usual. Really good Zoigl! One of the better of the 10 we tried! |
80 /100 Zoiglstube Zoiglbauer (Bar) KIRCHPLATZ 3 large building in the town square adjacent to the church and flagpole and monuments. low-ceilinged multi-roomed interior. typical Bavarian decorations. Zoiglbauer being poured from oak barrels and a menu offering most of your traditional German meat and potatoes and kraut choices. the Zoiglbauer was in nice shape at the time (November 2012). check the Zoiglkalendar for open weekends: http://www.zoiglinfo.de/pdf/Zoiglkalender_Internet.pdf |
70 /100 Zoiglstube Zoiglbauer (Bar) KIRCHPLATZ 3 The latest Zoiglstube to open in Mitterteich, near the church and the Unterer Markt. The interior is somewhat modern, light wood and white plaster. Good Zoigl. Normally opens for 5 days in a row, wednesday - sunday. Across the Unterer Markt is their Mitterteich shop (Männl, Unt. Markt 10). |
74 /100 Zoiglstube Lugert (Bar) BACHSTRASSE 12 Zoiglstube in the Bachstrasse, a rather busy (traffic) side street of the Markt. A bush hangs out when it is open (see the Mitterteich calendar). Although relatively new it looks very traditional on the inside. Beer and food are good as always. Be prepared for Stammgäste who speak a dialect that even Germans will have difficulty to understand. |
78 /100 Zoiglstube Hartwich (Bar) ANGERGASSE Zoiglstube with small butchery, plus a nice patio in a quiet part of Mitterteich. The Zoigl here is (still) from the vat instead of from the tank. There is a small elevator to lift the Fass to tapping height. Good beer and good value food. Lot of the beer goes into 1- and 2-litre swingtop bottles to take home, along with sausages etc. from the shop. |
76 /100 Zoiglstube Oppl (Bar) OBERER MARKTPLATZ 11 Wilhelm Oppl is so to say the "head brewer in Mitterteich and has a fine Stube with a bright new interior, but atmospheric nonetheless. Great beer, good food. Busstop is right in front. |
68 /100 BAHNHOFSTRASSE 1 Traditional family-run brewery that brews quite a lot of beers. Traditional Gaststätte with decent food. Good beers. Do not expect a station nearby, the railway line is long gone. |
