52 /100 BRITANNIA ROAD, MORLEY
“Corner pub on the main road skirting the town centre on its south side. Locals place in a horseshoe style room, serves food, as I found out mistaking the gents for the kitchen. There's a side garden too, although quite an urban setting. Parking available. Has four real ales, three local regulars and a national.“

“Located in the short stretch of countryside between Morley and Batley, which is mostly horse stables, its a detached pub with plenty of parking and purpose built rear terrace offering valley views and anglers pond as it's vista. One Tim Taylor cask on my visit, some craft cider. Food pub, traditional, pleasant.“

“High Street Wetherspoons accessed from the pedestrianised shopping street out front, although there’s a car park at its rear which if you arrive in a motor you’ll have to pay for as it’s not part of the pub. Here there’s also a rear patio area so you can get into the ground floor bar area from here too. It’s a plush looking pub as it’s not been open too long, with nods to the former cinema that was here in its decor, as well as the famous Yorkshire cyclist Beryl Burton. There’s an upstairs patio area too which overlooks the commercial Queen Street below. There’s two rows of hand pumps, with some of the keg options poured from the wall behind the service area, rather than from the usual set of pumps that adorn the bar.“
