“The classic and old-school of the two Most brewpubs, located in the Kosmos cinema building, on the other side of it though. Really old school vibes to it, darker shades to Most's lighter, like it's been there since 1969, not 2009. And it may well have been, only without brewing equipment, who knows. Oldtimers waiting impatiently for the place to open, greeting me as I was leaving. The vibe is slightly too much and nice at the same time. One very efficient and friendly lady running the bar, the brewmaster doing his thing in the background. Four beers on tap - 11°, 12° pale lagers (the 12° was tasty and hoppy, the 11° sweetish, estery and flawed), a solid polotmavé and a weird fakeish fig ale. Good prices - tough they only did 0.4l - 3 of these (including the special) cost me 113 I think, so it would've been something like 47 for 0.5l, which is more than acceptable nowadays. Both brewpubs are must-visit when in Most honestly - I dug this one slightly less due to the beers, but no reason not to go here. Note: There may be a beer or two that's not available at the brewpub at the equally old school Restaurace Kosmos next door - the černé was at least when I was there.“

70 /100 POD KOŇSKÝM VRCHEM 3450
“Most's more modern brewpub, located on the lowest western slopes of the Ressl hill (aka Koňský vrch), it's got the typical boxy brownish modern exterior, but also a beautiful patio. Light, cream-coloured insides, with a fair amount of seating - and you see the equipment as you arrive from the west. Quick, efficient service. The chalkboard by the entrance has more up-to-date info than the board with beers above the bar. If I remember correctly, there were something like 8 taps, but 5 beers were active on them, with another just in funnily shaped PETkas (plastic bottles). Pleasant atmosphere, locals, mostly in their 30s coming for lunch, but far from packed when I visited and I found a place to sit easily. Very hoppy array of beers - the 11° pale lager, 12° NZ hop lager, the 10° pale ale and the 12° polotmavé all had fairly long and bitter hoppy finishes. Only the (nice) 9° cherry/blueberry kettle sour didn't, of course. All the beers were pretty clean, dry or dryish, I actually dug the range a fair bit. Took the 14° IPA to go, though I have the least hopes for it. Not sure they have a regular menu, but the list of 5-6 dishes for that day (+ soup) had okay variety, seemed to be mostly Mexican-inspired that day. I went for something I hadn't seen before around much - smoked strip steak cuts with cauliflower puree, slightly roasted cabbage and carrot if I remember correctly - interesting combo, liked it a fair bit in the end. Okay price too - 159 I reckon. The beers weren't expensive either - apart from the 130CZK for 1l of IPA. I think mostly around 45-55 for 0.5l on tap? The pale ale was 42 for 0.4l I think. All in all, I liked it a fair bit, it's a must-visit when in town and I do hope their beer quality stays high! Note: Though the logical way to reach it seems to be at first through Františka Halase from the 1. náměstí station, the best way is actually to backtrack and go between the paneláks through M.G. Dobnera and Julia Fučika, onwards and upwards until you hit the main road (Žatecká). Shadier, and you end up straight at the crossing towards the brewery.“
